DSE-601 Atomizer Burning Hot (red too)

Is it a problem if the atomizer in my DSE-601 is literally red when the battery is in? Not sure if this is the right place for this question, but I thought I may as well try here. Thanks!

I had a dse601 a while back, there are unfortunately a lot of problems with this device:

1 - the atomizer leaks

2 - because the fluid has nowhere to go, it ends up pooling in the circuitry and air switch

3 - once that happens, your pipe may work intermittently, mine fired constantly after a few minutes of use and I eventually had to pull the batteries out

Unfortunately I have 2 dead dse601s on my shelf that I really wanted to use (I love the mouthpiece on those) but theres nothing you can really do unless its still under warranty, and even then its still a maybe
