I am no battery expert, but I would like someone who is or one of the long time mod makers to comment on this supposed 7.4v 801 battery. With all the batteries I have explored over the last year, it's odd that I have never seen anything close to a 7.4 volt battery in that size. If they can truely make a 7.4 volt battery in that size/configuration, why not just make a true 5 volt battery in that size and then you wouldn't have to use a high resistence atomzier.

It has to be 2 Li-ion 3.7 volt batteries stacked I.E. in series , battery chemical comp. have certain voltages per cell so 2 x 3.7 v batts = 7.4 volts , the MAH rating will remain the same ( parallel batts double the MAH , series batts retain the same MAh rating )

this will probably load down to 5.5 volts or so ( with an atty on it ) so it should use a regular atty on it OR a heavy duty one ( if one exisits ?? )

Sounds interesting, I've been using a 801 as my primary for about a month now, only concern is......

Due to the nature of this product, there is no warranty on the atomizers, and 7 day warranty on the batteries.

I switch back and forth between VK dse 801 atty and a BE112 atty, I don't notice much of a difference most of the time. I do notice that once this puppy gets hot that the atty tends to cut out, but I switch it out with another one. Seems it does like to stay cooler, the only draw back for me, but I've got a stock pile of attys since there isn't a known cartomizer for this model.

Is it a manual or auto battery?
I'm using a 6V box mod right now and I'm interested, but I really don't like auto.
Something to think over. With almost no warranty, is it worth it, I wonder? I don't see replacement batteries on the site, I did use the contact form to ask if I'd have to keep buying kits to get more batteries.

I didn't know they made 3.7v batts. that small... I know when I stack 2x 10440 batts the length is a bit longer than the standard pen-style battery.

Vchick, I use the BE112 atomizer on a 5 volt PV and I find it to be my most favorite atomzier at that power level. I finally found a cartomizer that is almost identical to the vape you get from a BE112. Try some of these atomizers from MadVapes. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. And let me know how you like them:

I got mine this morning; the vapor and throat hit are pretty amazing. If I could only get this atty to quit tasting like ... it could be amazing. I'm trying dripping on it to see if I can break it in a little quicker. To be honest, after only using regular 510s/EGos, this may be a bit strong for me! I actually feel like a have a little buzz going! Don't think I can chain vape on this like I do my other PVs.

801 cartomizers are available at Indy Vapor Shop, MadVapes, Vapor Nine and a couple other suppliers. I like 'em!

Actually, if you go to madvapes.com they have 801 cartomizers. I haven't tried them yet, but I will order them on my next order from madvapes. I am one of the rare people that prefer the 801atty over the 510atty.

I only swapped to the 510 atty after so many debacles with high bridge/low bridge, 2-hole/4-hole, "oh crap this cart doesn't work with this atty", etc. etc. When I first got my 801 I LOVED IT! The original Janty atty I got with the Janty Stick was my favorite and it lasted me 3 months if not longer. Eventually I went through a streak with it of getting only the smallest bits of vapor and I knew I had to change when I started looking at smokes again in the gas station. Went home and ordered a 510 and never looked back. Now with this 7.4 monster and 801 cartomizers on the market I am going to make the jump back over.

never tried an 801. but now they have mini, and penstyler cartos... and high/low voltage atomizers and batteries, so it may be about time. i also need a new GOOD auto battery? hows the 801? is it a MIC switch? or a pressure switch? whats the cut-off? is there a ....-down time? sorry for all the off-track questions, and thanks!
