automatic batteries can be highly prone to sticking, especially if you are dripping on the atomizer and /or overfilling carts. Liquid ends up jamming up the switch and they sieze up or do not work properly. It's also possibly you got a bad batch of batteries, did you order them all at once? What exactly happens to them?

no, different batches same company. I do drip....maybe getting liquid inside? But, i find just filing my carts don't taste as good!;)
thanks

they just die or keep blinking!

I have killed batteries in 10 minutes!!!!

Be very careful when dripping...One thing to try, put a drop or 2 of fluid in your dummy mouthpiece and let it trickle down to the atomizer at an angle instead of dripping directly on or into the atomizer. If its not strong enough flavor/vape, flick it down a bit, but not too much. Also blow out the atomizer way more frequently when dripping, maybe every single time.

About stuck batteries (ones that are already messed up anyways):

The tiny switch inside fails with even the smallest amount of fluid on it.
Some people have reported to me that tying a juiced battery into a salad spinner (twisty ties?)with the hole side pointing to the edge and spinning the heck out of it can remove juice a bit. maybe add the tiniest drop of rubbing alcohol into the hole beforehand .

If you prefer to drip maybe look at a manual battery type e-cig or get a manual usb passthrough. These types of batteries are sealed since they don't need the air-hole to activate a switch.

Might be worth it!

Pure Smoker's 901 manual passthrough will be sealed and probably worth buying, but the new 901 manual passthroughs coming out are NOT sealed from what I understand, so it's pretty much like the battery of chances of getting liquid in there, but I still think even unsealed manuals will work better than unsealed automatic switches.

Sheesh...

I don't drip and I have had only (2) SLB batteries out of about (12) SLB batteries in circulation between the wife and I go bad and only after a couple of weeks of use... (1) of which could have been shorted by me while using a voltage meter on it. (1) was definately a stuck switch but my wife looked like she was 'drawing' too hard maybe and probably 'damaged' the switch (errr, and No, I am not bragging here). All the rest are going 2 to 4 weeks now, I think.

Anyways, another common issue (if it lights but does not power the atty) means the center pole is not making contact (which is the positive terminal). You can pull or rather wiggle the center contact of the battery and/or atty out a bit by carefully using the 'end' of a paperclip in the center hole.

Sheesh, that was tough to say with out getting offensive (thinks to self is this even wise to post), Haha... (so please, spare me all the "your wife can suck a switch through an atty hole" comments:shock:) Damn, now I went and said it after making it this far, oh well :| LOL...

There are some threads and I was being lazy, well let me go find some links on the paperclip...

...here you gou:

And to give tribute to Krotch (whoever he might be) who pointed out this solution in this post (which is how I found out about this):

Anyway, maybe it will work on some of your batteries. If they light up (but don't blink when you remove them from the atty) and basically act normal but just don't seem to power the atty at all that would be the indication of this.
