Just got a tank atomizer for my regular dse 901 cig and after some days of vaping to break it in, I really like it. The draw is on the airy side but the flavor and vapor do come through. Plus, it's nice for daily wandering around without having to refill. I got it off valuevapor but was wondering if anyone knew where else they might sell them and in different colors? I have bubblegum pink batteries and while this gold one looks good on it, wanted to try finding one to match.

Ah, tanks! I love those things. Going to mail a 901 lr carto out soon when it arrives to see if it can be rigged with one to sit on my mod... Yeah, I didn't know they made 901-t either until I found a site that sold them! I haven't had very good experiences with the 510-t so I was surprised when this one turned out great. Love it! Alas, not in the color I wanted lol. I know, I'm being a doof but hey! The search continues!

I got a ego tank from VV and it never wicked right. Rather than send it back, i decided to play around with it but it turned me off the the things. I do love James' prices though and his Dekang juices are always the best (as far as Dekang juices go). I'm glad you like yours, and I'm a big fan of 901 atty's. So....did you get the regular or LR and do you wind up tasting a lot of the plastic tank mouthpiece?
Of course contact paper can be purchased to make your straight hardware be any color you like. It's a little harder with 901's because of the carb but I used to do it all the time. Used to custom make camo ones for a hunting buddy of mine, till he upgraded to a fat batt. Doesn't work so nice on cone shapes
Sorry, a little late here lol but I got the standard version Charlz. Never bothered to try the LR because I figure I'd probably get less puffs before I have to let it sit and wick again. I like it for when I'm out and just taking a puff here and there but I discovered that it sucked for chain vaping at the computer desk...until I took a skinny plastic pick (the pick end of one of those disposable dental floss picks to be exact) and poked through the hard filler in the middle of the syringe the other night. Carefully drilled and worked a little hole in it but made sure not to bore the thing out and now it seems to feed much better (chained on it to test and got no burnt atty taste, also see the wicking bubbles come up sooner) and the flavor is proving to be fuller than it was. Haven't had a flooding issue or noticed any over saturation gurgling either so that may be the key there. OR I got lucky, one of the two. 
I do detect a hint of plastic tank flavor I THINK but not as much as with the 510 I tried previously. I've only used cheap tasting generic labeled juices in these (didn't want to waste a good one if it was going to be a bust) though so I'm not sure which it is.

Leave it to the 901 to build a good working atty tank where Joye just can't get it right. Maybe by the time they are halfway through the alphabet?
