dse 905 mod how do i use at 6v

how do i mod my dse 905 to use it at 6 volt sorry cant post in mods section yet and dse, 905, mod, words are to small to search

Can't help with the mod but maybe with the search. On the lower left of most pages is a Google search box that searches this forum. It works a bit better than the basic forum search.

You need to use a dremel to "sand" a milimeters off the bottom battery cover (The one with the on/off switch"). After that you can insert 2 x CR2 batteries in the DSE905.

I have not done this mod, have thought many times to try it.
