Hi all

Could someone please point me to a supplier where I can get a decent 2.5mm male adaptor to power a 901 atomiser, preferably in the UK.

The ones that I am using from rapidonline I had to cut it down to size and add a blob of solder to the outer thread to make it work.

Ideally I want something that will work without the need to modify it. Apologies if this has been covered already.

Thanks
Mike

Thanks for the replies. The eBay link is insanely expensive though! £3.58 against rapid's 59p (plus VAT).

This is a very steep learning curve for me. But having given up cigarettes a year ago, I am yet to find a decent, reliable e-cig. I have been through sooo many 901's, e-cigars etc and none of them last. The best so far has been the screwdriver, but even that has a manky switch and has to go back for repair. Before I could do that had to have an alternative as I have now not smoked about 12000 roll-ups and am not about to go back.

So far I have built one mod: 901 atomiser, 2 * CR123A in parallel. It looks ridiculous but works better than anything I have bought. I am on an extremely steep learning curve though which is made more difficult by having damaged the nerves in my left arm and hand (hit & run) - so I am very cack-handed for what is quite precise work.

I am seriously impressed with the copper and am going to build along those lines. Being a heating engineer I have most of the bits already. The changes I am planning are the use of actual copper and not brass, using a momentary switch rather than the spring loaded atty, including an LED somewhere as Christmas is fast approaching and finally using slim-line non-screwed ends.

Anyway, I reckon it makes sense to persevere with the cheap jacks - even if I ruin half of them it's still cheaper.

Thanks again.
