I am very pleased with these attys and whistle tip carts.
I was a lights and ultralights smoker for the last decade of my smoking. I've tried M401, 510, Vapor4Life KR808D-1 w/ cartos (both their 2.x ohm WOW cartos and 3.x ohm Coolcarts). Just to try something different (and because it screws right on) I put the 901 atty on my manual shorty KR8 battery (180mah). And I was not expecting whistle tip carts and would not have ordered them on purpose, but I misunderstood the photo and that's what I got. I ordered the 901 stuff at litecigusa.net
I love the combination. With a drip tip I found the 901 atty overly airy sometimes but with the cart I am getting somewhat denser vapor, still a bit airy but lots of it. It's also a very tasty atty with a really easy drag.
The whistle tip carts have been a pleasant surprise. The white stuffing seems better quality than what I've had in other carts. I have been using the same cart 2-3 weeks with no problems. I also have not had a single leak that I know of. No juice in my mouth, no atty floods. And unlike some models I won't name, the 901 atty and its whistle carts get along great - not a single hint of burning anything since I've been using it, doesn't melt its own carts, etc. Likely a softer hit than attys that do melt their own carts but it's fine for me. A super relaxing vape - no hard dragging needed and with the whistle tips you don't even have to purse your lips tight around it - just a relaxed normal mouth closed on the whistle tip works great.
If I find time I'll take a photo of my combination. I use a colored KR8 shorty manual battery from Vapor4Life with a gloss black 901 atty and the 901 carts are gloss black (901 stuff from LiteCigUSA.net). So it looks a bit like a colorful cigarillo or slim cigar in a black whistle-tip holder. The overall size (and battery life I imagine) is about the same as a standard 510. I don't vape non-stop so the shorty batteries last me 3-4 hours.
