I just got dse901 put battery on charger and light is green
does this mean battery is already charged

The first charge needs to be 8 hours green light or not! After that the green light means you are good to go.

There is a great thread on this forum that dicusses Lith batteries. According to that post, you may not need to do an initial 8 hour charge. The batteries will only take the amount of charge that is needed to get it to full. I have gotten some that need 4-6 hours and some that need 1 hour and they function the same.
My new 510 batteries only charges for an hour before the light turned green and they were good to go.
