I have been using my dse905 V3 for about a week now. Sort of a love hate relationship. I love the fact that for a mod it is very comfortable in the hand, easy to use and the battery lasts all day long but even at full charge it just does not give the output of either greencig or kr808d1 standard batteries. Since the dse905 batteries are 900 mAh at 3.6 volt I expected output to be equal to the standard batteries. This problem is the same with both 901 attys and kr808d-1 cartomizers. Switching the same atty or carto between the 2 gives a very different level in both vapor and throat hit. Can anyone explain the difference?

From my observation and using a multimeter to test the ouput of the 905. I basically came to the same conclusion. The output is not nearly the same as using a KR808 battery.

The DSE905 regulates the battery voltage to 3.7volt while the KR808 batteries are around 4.0 to 4.3 volts. I believe the voltage drop causes the vapor/flavor production to be different.

Another factor is the adapter used from 901 to 510. The adapters I got had huge holes in them. I had to glue/tape a few of the holes to get better output.

If it was me I would throw it away.... One of mine just fired on it's own the other night until it caught fire and burned my desk. It was sitting beside me and the LED ring wasn't lit up so I had no reason to believe it was firing at all. I smelled something burning and checked thought that something was up with my computer and then poof.... A small flame was coming out of what was once the plastic ring for the LED... Bad feeling when you are a fireman to almost set your desk ablaze... Now I have another one that I am absolutely afraid to use...
