I think I'll hold off on the 905. Guess I'll have to wait until after the Spring Festival for an Indulgence.
I thought this might be an inexpensive way to get away from my passthrough.
I would probably get the 905 if it had no clean cycle (chip). Just something else to screw up and I don't want to have to think (worry) about it.
I can clean my own attys. thank you.

I know 4 beginning vapers who have left the 905. The unannounced cleaning cycle melting carts unexpectedly is the biggest reason. Two thought it didn't produce enough vapor/th, and the other two thought it overboard...

I ran into one yesterday, and was admiring his 3.7 sparkplug. He like the design, but was wanting to go 5/6v with it.

Neither do I actually.Especially since looking at it....

there's no reason they couldn't have kept the master switch and just had it recessed. Instead they put something there that looks like a "button" but give it no function. Basically they took away a useful feature and made it so you could stand it on end.

Honestly, I don't know how the v3 was an improvement over the v2.

You can stand it on its end, which I believe wasn't possible with the v2.

FWIW I like my v3 905 and have got used to disconnecting the atty when I'm not actively vaping to avoid the cleaning cycle. If only there were a way to completely disable that cycle ...

How did you get it around the plastic light ring? Maybe I'll try again.

I know there are a couple different style adapters out there. Are yours the same as the ones Shawn has on the site? If not that may be the difference. I have the ones he has pictured on the site and they thread on just fine like the atty itself would.
