Good Morning! Long-time vaper here, and I am new to this forum.

I just picked up a Warrior Box Mod Clone. I'm not new to mechanicals, but I am new to dual 18650 mechanicals.

I am having a strange issue, where the mod won't fire when both batteries are installed.

At first, there was an auto-fire issue. I put the first battery in (under the atty) and it auto-fired. I adjusted the 510 pin, and found the sweet spot so that it wouldn't auto-fire, and would fire correctly. (Now if I tighten the battery cap too tight, it will auto-fire, so I have found a happy medium with the 510 pin and the bottom battery cap.

One battery installed, the mod works well.

I then installed the second battery, and it won't fire at all. As soon as the battery hits the positive post, it stops firing.

I figure there has to be a short somewhere. I am trying to figure out how to fix it.

Additional Details - I am using brand new LG HG2 batteries. I have also tried numerous other batteries. Same problem no matter which combination of batteries are used.

I have tried with several different RDA's and tanks: Velocity, Atty, triton, kayfun. Same problem regardless.

Any ideas?

Thank You!

This is something you don't want to messing around with if it's not functioning properly. I would take it apart and inspect the various parts to make sure everything looks good.

Here's a thread on your particular box, I'm assuming this is the one you are talking bout.

The user has it taken apart in the post on the bottom of the thread. Good luck, let us know what happens.

The whole circuit looks a little rough, the copper might be dis-formed. Make sure the button is flush into the bracket too.

Can you return it?

You basically only have two options, returning it maybe the easiest of the two. The second option, it to take it completely apart and find out what the problem is and either fix it, or find out you can not return it because you have taken it apart. :?(

I don`t know this mod at all, but most mods of this nature use a battery bridge bar that lays on top and connects both batteries on top and my guess is that is the problem, its not positioned correctly and is not making contact at times and making too much contact at other times.

BOL.

Hey Guys! Thanks!

After looking at MatyTny's post, I realized the mechanism is very simple. I didn't get it from the aforementioned supplier, but the person I bought it from is going to send me a new one.

I did take it apart and found that the battery bridge bar was a bit bent, and missing a small chunk of insulation. I was able to fix it pretty easily. Works like a champ now, but still sending it back because the bar is still a little funky and it could probably get out of whack again.

Thanks so much for the help!
