Hi all, I've been smoke free for 16 days and lov'n every vapeing minute. By trade I'm a programmer of sorts but my hobby is to design things in cad and machine them on my cnc machine.
I've recently tried a coworkers 5v mod and now I have to have one. I started off with a 510 kit and moved on to a tornado. So now I have 2 perfectly good 510 push button batteries to play with. I'd like to run them in series using the existing buttons by creating a separate big button that will mount onto both of them. But I know that would give me too much voltage. I'd like them to run at 5v. I'm also wondering what material should I use. I'm considering wood, brass, aluminum, or derlin.
I'm attaching a picture of my rough sketchup. It still needs a lot more work but you'll get the basic Idea. I'm looking to do something more towards concept number 2.
So what would I need between the batteries and the atomizer? Also would it be bad for the batteries if only one button got pushed instead of both if they are in series?
Chris
