Dual Coil 510 Cartomizer Tank 3.5ml with a Ego Twist 1000mah?

Noob question. Anyone use this set up? I read the info and see that it might fry a 650 Ego. Was wondering if a 1000mah twist will work ok or not with this tank.

I doubt it. Dual coils require good power to work good.On those batteries from what I see the ce4 cartos work great. I have 3 friends using that set up. Viva nova tank would be ok also.

Although I've heard conflicting comments, I've read that the dual coil cartomizers were originally intended to be used with eGo batteries so that those batteries could "hit" similar to their bigger brother mods with bigger batteries. I've also read that for a dual coil to truly shine, it needs at least 4.5v of power to get both coils going. The truth? I honestly don't know.

From my own experience, I did notice when I used them before, that they drained my batteries faster than the single coils that I now use. My flavor production, vapor quality, and throat hit have not suffered since switching to the single coils; in fact I tend to prefer the cooler, smoother vape that I get from them when used in my cartotanks on my APV's.

Thanks for the answers. I think I'll stick with the vivi nova for now and save those tanks for a new mod.

Update - I submitted a ticket with AltSmoke and they said the info on the website is old, and the Cartomizer Tank will work with all the batteries.
