I got an Igo W with 1 one hole I'm going to drill another hole I prefer 1/16 air hole but I'm wondering if two 1/16 air holes will be too airy? Nimbus/Nimbus clone/Igo w owners what would suggest? Thanks

I believe it really depends on what vape you're going for. I too have an Igo-W and I have 2 5/64 air holes, but I am going to move up to 2 3/32 air holes, strictly because I vape almost exclusively to sub ohm vaping, around 0.3-0.4 as of late. Therefore, I need the bigger air holes for a cooler vape with also the added clouds.

However if you intend to shy away from sub ohming, maybe micro coiling, or jus strictly above 1.0 ohms, you should be fine at 1/16 or 5/64.

Hope that helps, good luck.

I also think it depends on how much you rate flavour vs vapour. Bigger airholes plume clouds, but you do lose out on flavour... like most things in life, it's a compromise.

Just got an IGO-W this morning - but I have two small air holes as standard. They can't be much bigger than 0.6. I'll probably drill them out to 1mm each - I generally end up at a resistance of 0.8-1.0.

Best to start small and work your way up, than go in with the big guns and end up with more airy than you would prefer.

I also drilled both holes on my new IGO-W to 1/16". It is too airy, I can pull a huge lung inhale with no effort at all. The frustrating part is that I bought a tiny little 1.2mm drill bit that was too small for my drill, tried to shim it up with some tape but then I couldn't push hard enough to actually drill the hole, was wobbling around everywhere. Switched to my 1/16" bit and got it over with. Next I will probably fill the holes with some JB Quick and finger drill to 1.2mm. For now I have the holes half covered with some tiny tape squares.

Ya I went in for my first mech mod to Empire Vape in Norco, CA - bought a k100 w/ igo-w - the guy made a dual .3 coil for me and drilled my holes out, need to figure out what size he drilled, it seems maybe too small - I don't know as I'm still a noob when it comes to sub-ohm. But my Igo-w gets REALLY hot, almost too hot to touch (my battery is staying chilly) but I think I may want to increase the airflow, as the temperature worries me.

I'm sure it's fine to get your coils/wick as hot as you want, as long as it's running stable - but I could use a more airy drag. For my first mech mod, k100+ and the Igo-W is amazing! i know there are much better setups out there, but it's easy to work with, and it pumps vapor! Mouth hitting and lung hitting produces some monster cumulus nimbus clouds!
