Depending on the resistance of the cartos, you are pushing 2.5 to 3.5 amps whenever you are pressing the button. So you should be getting about 10 to 20 minutes of button pushing time.. My math was very rough. But vaping for a couple of hours sounds about right, depending how heavily you vape.

eta: there are alot more variables... batt quality for instance.

I believe that those 5V boxmods from Madvapes just use 2 14500's in series. So you won't really get more time out of them and you'll charge 2 every time. 2 batteries in parallel would give you more runtime. Moving to a bigger battery like an 18650 would give you much more runtime. Mine go for about a day. Your results may be different.

ANy batts that work better with the duals? We are just having to change them all the time. I might jump to a 5v box mod that can be adjusted to 3.7v (madvapes) to get a better run time.

Well at 5 volts with a 1.6ohm carto which is where them DCs run your vaping at 15.6 watts. I ran tests on LR cartos at around 5 volts both 1.6 ohm and 1.8 ohm cartos and burnt up 3 sets of batteries. I would recommend if your going to use LR do it on 3.7 volt ecigs they were designed to be used on but it's still going to lower your vape time between charges. I personally won't use LRs but I don't need to with Variable voltage.

Rocketman has your answer you need.

Not just more runtime, they will also provide higher vaping/loaded volts. Under a heavy load with a single 14500 you also get a heavy voltage drop/sag when you vape.
