ive built many single coil gennys but now ive got a dual coil running in my BliSS clone. my question is: do both coils need to glow at the same brightness? my instinct is to immediately say yes. but im not 100% sure. i expect that if one coil glows brighter than the other, the juice wont vaporize equally off both wicks, resulting in basically a 1 coil vape (maybe 1.5).
my follow-up question would then be am i simply not getting all that a dual wick/coil can offer? or have i set my atty up improperly, and possibly subjecting myself and my mod to a short or something of the like.
third, how can i solve this problem? is one coil glowing brighter than the other indicative of the two coils not being *exactly* the same length? perhaps its something else. i mean, the two lengths of wire started out the same length, but after snugging up some slack on one of the coils in the set-up phase, one coil might be a mm or two longer than the other.
TIA
