I couldn't find any info on people using dual coils on a ud agi genesis that's only built for one coil so I did some experimenting.
The first one I did a horizontal coil build with a cotton bed between the coil and the hole, with a 5/4 coil. Had to bend the coil at an odd angle for the coil attached to the two post, but both of them glowed the right way.
Pretty good clouds, seemed about the same as a single coil build in the same fashion so I tried another dual horizontal build but with cotton threaded through each coil and into each hole just enough to not leak, but not all the way into the tank. Did 4/3 coils at .4 ohms. This gave even better clouds, much better than anything I've ever had out of this tank but the way the cotton was actually going upwards on one coil made the cotton not wet very well on that particular coil. Another problem was that the tank would heat up too much and drain the battery too quick.
I'm now just back at a horizontal single coil with a cotton bed just for simplicity. I've found this set up to be the best tasting a vapor production for my taste as far as genesis tanks go.
