I learned from a video on You Tube how to build dual coils for Ody. Tried it and loved it. Wow!!! .9 Ohms, strong throat hit and excellent flavor, even at 6.4 V. I've been using 32 guage Kanthal for R wire and Silver for NR in the drip mode on Ody. There have been a few incidents though when I get some little "mini explosions" which shoot a puff of air into my mouth and this is a bit scary. Anybody else experience this and is it dangerous? I'm beginning to get a bit worried the damn thing is gonna blow up in my mouth. Also has anybody tried using dual coils in Iatty? Thanks.

Got a link to those videos? I am Gunna get my first Ody as soon as Bruce can get em out and I've been trolling the different methods to make coils. Kinda excited!
I'm new to the world of mods, ohms and coils and I've been reading up on resistance and rebuildable dual coils as I just received my first Ody. Am I right in thinking that a .09ohm dual coil on a 3.7v bat is operating at around 16w?

So yea as I thought, around 15-16w. Is that a dangerous load on a 3.7v battery?

If you are more than 15 watts modschnosti take breaks to restore the battery capacity, then do not worry.
