So I got an AVS on the classies a couple weeks ago, tried it out, couldn't work out the leaks, and ultimately cleaned it out and packaged it to be resold on the classies. But a few days ago, I got a Patriot UFS edition, which is now seated in my AVS with a 2.5 ohm coil (with ody wick and 34g kanthal) and it's really spitting out some crazy clouds! So now I've got to thinking that maybe my dripping mode Ody will also fit! Might have to mess around with the top orings a bit, but I think it should work. If anyone wants to give it a go before I get around to it, feel free to post some pics and share about your results.

I tried to do a mockup with drip base and both the drip mouthpiece and short mode mouthpiece and it doesn't look like it will work.

Drip mouthpiece is to big in dia for the top cap to go on at all. Also with the drip base you can't assemble in the traditional way because it is to wide to go in through the bottom so what you have to do is put the connector on the tank and thread the base in through the top (this is with either mouthpiece I tried)

With the short mode mouthpiece the top will start to thread on but only gets partially threaded on because ody is so long and wide.

Hope this helps.

Bummer :/
I installed my Patriot by screwing it in after I put in the 510 connector with no problems, but in retrospect, the dripping mode base is much wider than the Patriot.

Yeah it will thread into the connector from the top no problem. I guess if you get the juice controll set right before putting in the connector it would be ok but the bigger issue is the top cap. Dripping mouthpiece is way to wide and the short mode mouthpiece is narrow enough but the whole oddy is so long it only gets about 1 turn on leaving about 3/4 of the threads showing and very much not leakproof. I guess you could try stacking o-rings if you really want to use this setup but I think you'd be better served to use Ody even in short mode because there isn't much room for juice in it even if you stacked some o-rins.
