Dual coil

Clear dual coil vs metal dual coil. Does anyone find any difference in them? Does one handle higher voltage better then the other? Does one have better taste then the other? I tried a one clear one but used it with a standard 510 manual battery. Was thinking of trying them again if get a variable voltage mod.

I suggest the clear ones to noobs. It's a great way to learn about topping off your carto and seeing how long it really takes to saturate the polyfill. The plastic tubing has fallen apart on me. I went to unscrew the carto and the plastic sleeve just came off in my hand. They look funky inside quickly and I stress over melting the plastic and vaping it. I get the metal ones in ss or black these days.

Boodle do u find a difference in taste or anything between the clear dc and the ss dc?

If you're speaking of the emdcc, I've used the clear and the metal. The clear ones I've tried tend to crack at the base that screws onto the battery. I've also had one where the clear tube just came loose while unscrewing it. Haven't had that problem with the metal ones. They taste and vape the same to me.

Dual coils don't play well with a standard 510 battery. I use the mega clear dual coils on my variable volt Darwin. Never had a problem with one of these falling apart. The smaller regular dual coils have fallen apart on me like Boodle stated. I get mine at MadVapes.

I use the SS Dual Coils. I did try a box of the clear and did not like them. They look nasty with juice in them. Kind of like a nic soaked cig .... and I found that the flavor and vapor was not as good. Now this was just my experience and yours may be totally different. I do love the SS Dual Coils. The black are as good but the black paper wrapped around the carto will start peeling and they may look worse quicker. I have been using them for quite a while on my VV Buzz. Good luck to you!

I like the clear because they can be easily cleaned- within minutes actually. And you can see how much juice is in the carto and if you have dry spots. If you like using cones, the cones will fit over the xl dual coil cartos. The downside is they can come apart easily. I use clear juice so mine look fine. I agree darker juice can look a little funky.

I've never tried the clear EMDCC because I think the EMDCC have a hard draw. And they look a little funny.

I like the xl fine. I get mine from deej as well. Although my favs are the ones from CCV.

i personally like the metal dual coils because all the clear ones i have had crack at the base from being attached to my PV and having them in my pocket. they perform the same and will work well from 3.7volt devices all the way up to 6v.

I use the metal black ones no probs so far. Flavor is better in these than in the reg. cartos
