Build one higher 1.0 ohm or higher, no need to try to get that to vent. Read about battery safety like posted in Susan's post earlier.
Actually, according to vape calc, a 1 ohm coil at 4.2v only pulls.... 4.2 amps. so the battery quoted would be safe in builds higher than 1 ohm. I believe I have one somewheres for my kayfuns where I build em at 1.1 ohms anyways. higher capacity is nice.
However, if the device is regulated for higher wattages (especially 30w), I agree. Do not use this battery.

Once you go below a certain point, accuracy, knowledge of your equipment, and safety are extremely important. This isn't meant to slam you in any way, it's just a fact. In the wrong hands and with little understanding of your equipment's capabilities this could become very dangerous.

Okay for starters I need to get a new battery and not online what brand and specs of a battery do you recommend I get and do you know of places that might sell them. I doubt Walmart does
Try any vape shops around you for the batteries if you don't want to wait for shipping. I would recommend the Samsung 25R High drain battery IMO. Unless there's a reputable vape shop near you, you're pretty much going to have to get batteries on-line. I use Authentic AW Batteries - RTD Vapor as they are probably the most reputable vendor there is. What ever you get, make sure it has IMR in the name or part number. What you have is designed for flashlight users, low drain with long battery life.
You could probably use that safely with your E-VLT until a suitable replacement arrives IF you get that build at or above .8 ohms. Once again, refer to Susan's links and the Steam Engine web site I mentioned...

1: use thinner gauge wire
or
2: forget the dual coil and do single coil.
A good all round gauge for people to use for your first build is 30 gauge.
That one or this Samsung are great batteries.
You still want to know the limits - test your build's resistance before firing, and use the calculator to see what Amps you'll draw firing at different settings...

It's not so much a question of "is this battery ok?", it's a question of "is this battery ok for what I'm trying to do". When I have that question I go to Steam Engine's battery drain page and check:

Use the drop down and select that model battery and plug in your coil resistance. It will tell you if that battery is safe for "your build". Take that battery for example...
On a mechanical mod, that battery only becomes safe at builds over .3 ohms. Even then, there's only 32% of battery head room (safety). Put in a .8 ohm build and you're up to 74%. I vape mostly mechanical mods with tanks between 1 - 1.4 ohms so yes, that battery would be great for me.
It's all give and take and there is no Yes/No answer. Read some of Baditudes blogs as Susan suggested. There meant to help new vapors get over some of these beginning hurdles...
