So out of curiosity I built a coil that I've never seen. I'm sure it's been done before, but unbeknownst to me. I wasn't sure what to look up try to find it.
Basically if you can imagine making an 8 wrap coil, and then folding it in half to make two parallel verticle coils of 4 wraps each, out of a single wire.
I seem to be getting a pretty dense vape out of it, more so than when I was using a .2ohm parallel setup with the same gauge wire.
It was kind of a pain in the .... to get it wicked since I had to remove the coil from my rda, but the definite advantage is that I can get 8 wraps in a space where I could only fit 4 previously with the wire I'm using, and verticle coils definitely didn't seem to fit well.
Has anyone ever tried anything like this, Or is there a reason unkown to me that we just don't do it?
