dual fused claptons taste horrible

I have just built my first dual claptons, there 24g with 32g kanthal 4 wraps on a 2.5 bit wicked perfect but flavour is awful its built on a clieto rta and its coming out as a 0.1

Is it possible your wire came with oil on it? you could unwind a foot and run your fingers down it a few times to see if you get a dirty oil color on your fingers, test both the wires, in either case wether it be dirty wire or not i'd pull the wicks out and wash the coil's in hot soapy water using a toothbrush, hopefully you'll be able to do this with them still installed in your atty to save on time, then i would give them a nice dry burn before installing your wicks to get them dry and to check for any shorts.
Apart from this i would also check that your coils aren't touching anything they shouldn't when your atty is all together.
Have you built on this atty before or is it a new one with its first build?

Describe awful lol? I know some of my juices don't taste good on Clapton builds. The flavor is just to strong, it gives a bitter after taste.

Can the Cleito handle dual fused clapton coils? It's a sub ohm tank, so I assume the RBA section is small.
