Single coils will almost undoubtedly work better; 2.0 ohm to 3.0 ohm single coil. I think the best vape in general can be had with a single coil, properly warmed. Dual coils are IMO the single largest hoax perpetrated on the unsuspecting vaper. Triple coils are even more laughable.

Dual coils need twice the total power that a single coil does to get to the same temperature, and the upper coil is almost certainly going to be less well-saturated than the lower coil, practically guaranteeing worse flavor along with the increased power consumption. Two is not always better than one. Boobs and testicles, sure. Coils, no.

I just ordered 90 Boge single coil XL stainless steel cartos for use in Smoktech 3.5ml DCT tanks. Add a trim ring so the tank won't slide down onto the 510 connector, and you're done. Unflanged cartos have the advantage of being able to be slid right into a full tank without the need to empty it first. Single coils also obviously extend battery life - 3.0 ohm single coils in particular, since they draw fewer amps.

IMO Duals replicate smoke more than a single does. Singles produce thinner, more airy vapor.

I have been using duals for years since they came out I have also tested the singles you name them I have tried most, I have not had a dual coil on a twist but have on just a regular ego and other VV, duals are way better when it comes to heat and vapor production and when I turn the duals up to 4.6-4.9 im in vaping heaven :vapor: well worth the battery loss...and as of flavor dripping would be better than any cartos but those duals sure can cook a juice if you crank it up to bring out taste you did not know was there....and as of building up gunk this happens on alls carts dual or not and I have yet to see any life span difference from the two, but I also the LR cartos single will burn if not filled good and its trash after that....but I did run into a pack of singles coils from mad vapes once that was suppose to be duals and they where 1.3 and those things rocked needless to say it was a factory error and they burnt out in a day or two and never seen them again

I am lovin' drippin' in my 2.5 ohm atty on this 1000 mah twist! I've got some steel boge singles comin' but DAAAMMMn. I wish they had these when I started vapin'. Got mine for $25.00 at Mike & carol internet store. I put one of super T Mfg's 3 inch SS drip tips and a cone on it and it's like 7 inches long! Hits great and I guess as long as you don't put a silly as%ed dual coil on it the battery will last awhile (all day so far).

To get the best range from the device use higher ohm cartos - 2.5-3 ohm single coils seem to work best for me - I think the Twist has a limiter, so with lower resistances you won't see much improvement over 3.7/3.8 volts - See pBusardo's review chart for the rundown Taste Your Juice | THE EGO TWIST BATTERY

As you can see from the chart on this page. 1.5ohm cartos don't really go much above 3.7 volts, wheras the 2.5-3 ohm ones get pretty much the full range.

That said, it's relatively pointless using 1.5ohm dual coils on a Twist. You may as well use a normal 3.7 volt Ego.

Since vaping is a very personal matter as far as preferences go, you can use anything that you want on the Twist.

A dual coil, or anything else, will work on it at least as well as it does on an eGo. It won't go full range on LR or most DC, because of the amp limit, but neither will it damage them.

Relax, Enjoy!

While different vapers will have different opinions of what makes a good vape, I think that personal preference has its limitations on how it can effect physics. Therefore, while it is hard to argue with the fact that "you can use anything that you want on the Twist", I don't think a very good vape could be had on a twist with, say, a 5 ohm single coil carto, and that has little to do with personal preference, unless you happen to enjoy a 4.6 watt vape.

And while it is of course true that "a dual coil, or anything else, will work on it at least as well as it does on an eGo", I don't see why anyone would want to use, say, a 1.5 ohm dual oil cartomizer on a Twist. For me, limiting damage to atomizer coils is a secondary consideration to generating an optimum vape, which IMO is unlikely to be had with the 9 watts going to two coils (around 4.5 watts per coil) when the Twist maxes out its amp limit at around 3.7 volts.

I do like to relax, and especially with a good vape going on, which sometime takes some number crunching first.
