In other applications, batteries in parallel produce twice the amps and in series twice the voltage. So if I'm using a mech with 2 parallel 26650-20A CDR batteries, am I safe to build coils that pull over 20A? I would assume so, but want to be sure. I'm not trying to do a build that pulls 40A, but I have a nice dual coil build at around .2ohms that steam engine says is 21 amps at a full 4.2V. I also have a new 3-coil RDA that I am having trouble putting coils with more than 5 or 6 wraps in due to the limited space inside. The highest I can get the ohms on it is around .14. That's 30A and 130W of drain on my batteries. How much is too much?

in theory, yes, you can safely run that build on a parallel set up.
some things to consider. Still insure you are using quality batteries. Don't pair old batteries together...mate two new batteries, and keep them together as a mated pair. This link will explain why...as well as answer many other questions you may have concerning batteries...
