Hey all, long time lurker finally decided to make an account. I've been vaping for about 5 years, starting with an Ego-c dual kit now running a Lost Vapes DNA200 with a Goon and a smok T-priv with the Ohmega Alpha BFT.

The reason for this post, I was reading a few of the nostalgia posts in here since I'm waiting for customers, and remembered the good old days when things were mechtacular. The unfortunate thing is that a single 18650 tube barely satisfies me after vaping at 200w for the past two or three years.

I was hoping that someone in here has had the older dual series mech boxes like a hexohm, and something a bit newer like a noisy cricket. If so which route should I go? Try to find a used hex or buy a new cricket? Send help!!

The original Hexohm and Hexohm second gen are PWM (Pulse Width Modultated, has an electronic chipset and are basically Variable Voltage) where the Noisey Cricket 1.0 is a straight mech. In either case the minimum Ohms on either will be about 0.55 to 0.6ohms due to amp draw, series battery config = Voltage X Number of Batteries, Mah and Continuous Discharge Rate of a single battery.

8.4v/0.55ohms=15.272727amps (75% CDR on a 20amp CDR battery, 50% CDR on a 30amp CDR battery)

Welcome and glad you joined.
If you like it, any vaping is all good.

I have a noisy cricket in my stash as I am a mostly regulated vaper.
As far as bang for the buck it's hard to beat, just use caution and you are good.
Also with the design you can flip the fire button when pocketing the mod, nice for peace of mind. Build for your batts and you have a nearly unbreakable setup.
