My sister-in-law was a success, but the problem now is getting her to come down from 24mg nic which she's been on for nearly 2 years! She says it works so why change it..... suppose she's right but I'm sure she would be just as happy on 12 or 18.

If you DIY you could easily help her lower the nic level without her even really noticing.

This is true, but she only likes the same cheap tobacco liquid and is reluctant to change. I get her a good quality Turkish Delight and she really likes it, but always mixes it 50/50 with her usual tobacco. I'm slowly trying to find a different juice that she likes that I can make myself.

Welcome to the forum @Foggin I passed my 2 year mark in December and for the most part still vape 18mg, though do sometimes step down to 12mg. I'll probably stick to 12mg when I need to re-stock as I really can't feel any difference !

Thanks What hardware are you using? My nic level fell naturally as the resistance of my coils dropped and power increased - it was too harsh otherwise. I think the coils have a lot to do with the satisfaction vapers get from their nic.

I'm very much a "tootle puffer" so still using mainly 30w eleaf isticks at around 7.5-8watts I do have a couple of subox minis and a few other more powerful devices ready for the vapocalypse and although I've bought some kanthal wire, am yet to venture into the world of rebuilding ! It's kept me of the cigarettes though so I'm happy

That makes perfect sense @Maytwin. I know long term ecig users who enjoy the modern day equivalent of a Protank on an ego battery and they're quite happy tootling through high nic juice. That's the good thing - everyone is different and everyone has a choice so there's something for all
