If you have unregulated box it is usually dual parallel or series,
What is the danger on building a box mod that uses four 18650 35Amp such you have 2 series in parallel?

Given that the lowest build could be .25 ohms, mosfet can handled 295Amps 300watts at 40Volts
Box mod would use 10gage solid. A .25ohm at 8.4V would draw 33.6 Amps at 282.24 Watts.

Ok unless they came up with some switch a box mod can be either parallel or series. Not both with out some kind of switches. The amperage rating is quite diff on the two. This question has tripped my soap box speech switch. You did not do your homework. You need to have a working knowledge of Ohms law and Battery safety to be doing rebuildals and for sure mechanical or mosfet mods. If you mess up you could have a bad day. Ok to do some explaining In in parallel you can double the amperage rating of the batteries and in series they are not. That is with both batteries having positive touching positive and neg touching neg. If it's 8.4 volts it's got batteries in series. That is where the positive of one touches the negative of the other. Which says you have to stick with the limit of a single battery. I guess if you had a big enough box you could do series/parallel and have 4 batteries in it.
