Dumb question about liquids in general.....

Let's say I only have so many tanks and I have a tank that I want to put a new flavor but don't want to waste what is already in there but don't want to vape it all or mix flavors...is it ok to take that liquid and pour it back (very carefully of course) into the bottle it came from? The reason I ask is I have spent a ton of money so far on my equipment (still don't have the top of the line stuff yet and may never) and different liquids from different companies (BTW, I am a Nicoticket believer now!). Plus I like to keep my tanks nice and clean so I like to do that every week or so. Hot water for the tanks and a vodka bath for the coils. So far my tanks and coils have lasted me about 2 months. I have thrown out 2 coils and replaced them.

I understand that many of you will try to sell me on the best equipment to get the best results but this is to help me quit smoking and spending all that money on cigarettes. I don't want to turn around and spend the same or even more on this. Spending on bottles of liquid every month is hopefully going to be less than the $47 I used to spend on a carton a week.

I use plastic bottles from fast tech. I wouldn't cross contaminate. Kinda like eating a bowl of soup not finishing and dumping it back in the pot and putting it away. I wouldn't do it.

Have you ever found a fruit fly in your tank? I have. Dont know how the heck it got in there but its happened twice that i have noticed. That was enough for me to pick a different bottle hahaha!

Confessions of a juice flopper here. I get bored and switch probably 6-8 times a day. If I'm using a specific flavor not mixed with anything else, I don't have a problem pouring it back in the bottle. If it's mixed, it goes in an empty bottle or down the sink. I know, Joose aboose. My biggest problem is I'm not that organized and I forget what's in what or what's mixed together. I give them the smell test and best guess.

Keep cleaning those tanks and coils though. You're doing a great job with it in making things last that long.

No but the fungus gnats from my plants LOVE vape...would't be surprise if I've ended up vaping a few.

I have 8 tanks I hit all the time and had the same problem recalling what juice was in which tank. Solved that issue....use those rubber bands from the craft store, you know the ones the kids make bracelets out of, one on the tank and one on the bottle that are the same color. If I've mixed a tank, say CB/CLS I put the same color on each bottle. The only tank I don't need to put a color on is the GCD, there's NO mistaking that one.
Hope that helps you and makes things easier without having to be overly organized.

AiV has little charms and doodads to make it easy to differentiate your tanks. They are a little girly for me, so I use different colored mods.

If it looks and tastes ok I put it back in the bottle. If it doesn't, down the drain. I'm cheap

I also change flavors a lot, clean the tanks and dry burn the coils.

Anytime I find a "keeper", I'll dedicate a tank to just that flavor. Best thing ever is a P-Touch label maker. Those labels stay on forever even through hot water rinses and soaks! Here's a pic from back in the day before I discovered the awesomness that is Nicoticket:

Camaro (love that handle - I have owned 5 Camaros (3 of them Irocs (my name spelled backwards)) in my lifetime!) I actually hand write the flavor on a piece of paper and tape it to my tanks.

Right on! I've had this one since the mid 80s (my mid teen years) and have MANY memories (of all kinds!) in it. Almost every 80 "hair band" song reminds me of some caper or event involving this car that defined me throughout high school!!

As far as labeling tanks and cartos, this is the best thing EVER and available pretty cheaply at just about any office supply store:

Nice! Mines a 1969 SS with a (NOT stock 400 small block bored .030 over to 407 cubic inches, racing Muncie 4-speed and a 373 posi-traction rear end. Straight-up drag racing BEAST with well over 500 horsepower and 600 ft/lbs of torque to the rear wheels (thank God alone, I'm still alive!). Lots 'o fun.....and trouble when you're a teenager terrorizing the streets with this monster. Praying "Thank you" every night for keeping me and those around me alive all those years nighty still! Actually, about that time to go do that and sleep....little ones up in a few...g'night all. Vape on, live, love and keep your coils wet hot and wicks wet!!!

ETA I played all those "Hair Nation" goodies on the drums for 15 years in local clubs and garage bands!! Too much fun to tell about!!

Just a few things I noticed...

Never, ever, throw your old/used heads away... toss them in a baggie and keep them - I suspect one day you will learn to rebuild and be glad you did.

Most clearomizer inadvertently heat the liquid while it is in the tank... it's akin to speed-steeping. As far as pouring it back in the bottle - eh - if it works for you, do it. I can't say I have never done it with some of my personal bottles (when I was using clearos).

When and if you do transition to dripping, problem solved.
