Duo Pro Deluxe Starter Kit - menthol 24 mg nic HARSH

I have smoked for 40+ years - full flavor menthol and non filter for the past 6 years

I have had my e-cig for two days now and it is way more harsh than any cig I ever smoked.

I cough like crazy every time I draw on it.

Could this be because it is just new or are they that harsh. I can smoke almost anything
and not couch but not this???

Don't know for sure what the Duo Pro is. Might be a RN4081.

The nic level might be to high for you. Could also be the menthol. However, lots of people, when they first start vaping, are surprised at how "harsh" a pv can be.

You might want to think about getting a different unit, one where there are lots of accessories available. Atomizers, cartomizers, various tanks, battery sizes, flavored liquids, etc. For a cig lookalike, the Joye 510 and the KR808 seem to be the favorites. For a larger battery size, the Joye eGo or Kgo are favorites.

The draw technique on an ecig is different. Pull it into your mouth, then inhale.

But, yeah, 24mg nic is pretty strong.

Try a couple different strengths and flavors, it might take a few attempts to find what works for you, you could also get some zero nic menthol then you would be able to see if its just the 24mg of nicotine that is too harsh and if that is the reason you can mix it with the o nic to find a lower strength that works for you

I'm very new to this, so take my advice with a grain of salt... I ordered several different kinds of juices with my starter kit since I had no idea what I would like in terms of flavor, nicotine, or PG/VG. The higher nicotine is definitely noticeably harsher (unpleasantly so for me), but the lower nicotine strengths leave me craving.

On the other hand, the juices I've tried that are 100% PG have a harsher quality in my opinion than the PG/VG mix, but it's a different kind of harshness than the nicotine kind of harshness (kind of hard to describe). Several people have told me PG is much better for flavor, but in my limited experience, I've been appreciating the smoothness of VG. You might try getting a small sample of a PG/VG mix and see how you like it.

I will order some of the lower nic's and see what that does. Right now it is harsh to the point that it
burns my throat. If that doesn't work I will look at getting another unit. I guess I have a lot to learn
about all of this LOL
