I totally disagree. I find dripping to be super easy to deal with. I mean, I pop off the drip tip (yeah, I know it's a drip tip, but the hole is too small, haha!), drop a couple drops, pop it back on, vape. To me it seems MUCH less fussy than filling cartridges. I haven't tried cartomizers or anything like that, but I don't find dripping to be much trouble at all.

And personally, I'd recommend starting with something low-priced and sturdy rather than spending money you don't really have to when you could spend much less and likely be totally satisfied. I know we all cheerlead for what what we love, but I do love my Riva 510 from Liberty Flights. Thirty bucks for the kit, the battery will last you all day (or nearly). And they take PayPal. ;)

You should try cartos... The 2.0Ω Boges are really nice.

So are the eGo-T (type B) and 510-T atties...

I agree with Katya on starting out on cartos or a tank system. I started out with an Ego-T Type B. If you are a type of person that is just a menthol person then that would be perfect for you, it holds 2ml's of liquid and lasts for a couple days usually, fairly simple to refill and a pretty durable overall mod.

Cartos are a bit more for variety in the perspective they don't hold as much liquid if you get the smaller(normal) ones and they can be kind of a pain to fill if you get into the whole syringe thing which you will end up after a while of doing them.

I personally got a little Ego-T kit for I think it was $87 with shipping and they sent me a little 5ml sample of juice, being new I completely forgot I'd need more and had to reorder within a few days so be sure you remember that. Consider what kind of menthol you'd like because everyone tastes different.

only reason i recommended the mod was because of his/her budget and she wanted something reliable..that'll also give him/her other better options like access to dual coil cartomizers and LR atomizers...which you cant use on rivas and egos (correct me if im wrong)

that said...the egos and rivas are otherwise what i always recommend. i woule go with a regular ego or riva 510 though as i always read that the ego tanks "mute" the flavors of your juice. the conveniency is nice though

You are wrong. :)

I have eGos (3.2-3.4v, regulated, 650 and 900 mAh) and the new true 3.7v SE Rivas. I've used everything on them from LR atties (Cisco being my favorite for dripping) to dual-coil cartos, Vortex, tanks, and even the Bloog (kr808-with an adapter).

The easiest and most reliable PV out there. And a starter kit can be had for ~30-40 bucks--depending on the options chosen.

An LR atty or carto on 3.7v gives me plenty of heat and vapor--as much as any mod. It's all about Wattage, anyway.... And the eGos are safe, non-exploding batteries. And when they fail, and fail they do, eventually, they can be replaced for $11-20.

I use the eGo-T atties type B on my 3.7v Rivas--the flavor is much better. I use the LR type B atties on the eGos. However, the standard ones work fine on the eGos, as well.

What's not to like?

No need to leave nocturn... Great info

I will agree that an ego/riva is better to start with tho. I've been vaping 18 m or so and have an ego w/ dual around my neck right now. I also use a mod w/ duals (a GLV) but it took me a year and half, to find a mod I liked. And believe me, I tried many many mods! Better to start out smaller/simpler no matter the budget.
I also love to drip on my Vgos (901 fitting).
IMHO....YMMV

We have multiple opinions here, and most of us respect that. That's one great thing about this place.

Welcome, BTW :)

I contemplated getting a tank system, but I read so many posts here about them leaking and having problems that I changed my mind. I love the idea, but I think I'd rather wait until the problems are hammered out. Because *I* would be the one that got a crappy one...that's just how my luck goes. :p
