Hey all:

My Father in Law recently decided he wanted to give ecigs a try, so one of his daughters bought him an eGo kit. He ran out of juice and he really doesn't know how to navigate the internet yet alone find an e juice vendor and place an order. So my wife placed a relatively large order (120ml) @ FSUSA.

Order arrived all good. Now the same order arrived again at his house. He called us not knowing what to do. Now, it is a major inconvenience for him to get an envelope+stamps, go to the post office and send the duplicate order back. It was not his fault that he received the duplicate order.

We called FSUSA and the guy was like: "Please send it back!". I was sort of speechless and here is why:

First off we ordered right before the 20% off discount and paid full price, secondly as I have mentioned, FSUSA expects her Father in Law, who is totally new to the ecig world, to basically waste his time buying an envelope+stamps+gas & drop off the envelope.

Now I understand how this might sound cocky, but I had vendors sending me a bottle I didn't like before, and they told me to keep it and they send me another one for free. I had vendors forgetting to send a bottle with my order, and they send me an extra bottle, for free. Basically, all vendors I have dealt with up to this point always admitted their mistake and never made me correct it.

Maybe I have grown a little 'spoiled' with this industry, but to be honest, the 'vaping' industry has been so nice to me and my friends, that this took me surprise.

Lastly, if FSUSA would have said, we'll send you a stamped envelope and to use that, then I would have no problems with that, but to expect someone to waste their time because of a mistake made by others doesn't sound right to me, especially in the E Liquid Industry.

I've heard only good things about FSUSA but to me personally they are the first bad experience I've had dealing with e cigs.

It was supposed to be a gift from my wife, his daughter, to him, and not turn into a burden for him.

about a week ago, I placed an order for about $75 ONLY 15 minutes before their 30% off sale. They wouldn't give me the discount. I even posted on twitter to them.........still no discount besides the standard 10%
Don't get me wrong, I love FSUSA & I order from them about once a week............everything has always been good, but they are sorta weird about stuff like that.

Sorry you got a rude response when you called them.

If you weren't charged for the duplicate order, put it up for sale in the classifieds, and screw sending it back. I mean if you are gonna buy a stamp & packaging anyway, at least make a buck off it :)

Let me make sure I get this right... are you saying that your father-in-law made a second order, or are you saying FSUSA shipped a second order by mistake.. The difference is important! I am sure David and Pam would do what ever is fair and reasonable to make things O.K. But if they got the order twice, I am not sure they could tell one was not valid. JMO.

Yeh that sucks big time, 30% from $75 is quite a lot of money.

Well, here's the problem, her dad lives in another state and like I've mentioned his computer knowledge is very, very limited. We don't expect any freebies at all, but instead of receiving a gift, he now has this 'burden' to take care off.

All in all this is not a big deal, everyone will live and the sun will shine in the morning. Just thought I'll vent a little since I have never dealt with such a situation before since I started vaping.

My wife's dad never ordered anything. It was my wife and I who ordered for him. It was a surprise gift; he didn't know about it until it got there. We ordered one time only. He received the same package twice. We don't want free stuff, but he should not be asked to go through the hassle of returning the package.

As I've said before, if FSUSA wants this package back they should send a self-stamped/addressed envelope to my Father in Law. This way he doesn't have to go out of his way and correct someone else's mistake.

Isaac - It's likely that one of the employees answered the phone when you called. Call back and ask for David, Pam, or Cassie; they will help you. By the way, that was very nice of you and your wife to buy your father in law juice. I hope between that and the eGo, he's able to stay off cigs.

Also, when ordering, never pay full price. Even if there's not a sale, there's a discount code for 10% off that can be used all the time. It's on the home page.

Sandra, that's the cutest doggie ever in your avatar!! Is that a Boxer?? We have one... But urs is just too cute!! :) .

Thanks! That's our Pit Bull, Raleigh (aka Squishy). We usually call him Squishy because of his soft, wrinkly head. :) Honestly, out of all the dogs we've ever had, he's my favorite. We love him a lot. So you have a Boxer? I love Boxers! How old is your dog? What is his/her name?

We have a boxer and a beautiful mud (not sure what breed; a Sophie-Breed.. lol)

We had a Pitbull but she died in 2005. She had a stomach tumor, and died shortly after her surgery. She was the best dog ever, and my parents are still heart broken about her... Yes, PitBulls are the best, most loyal dogs ever.. I dislike all the PitBull hate. Once my Boxer passes, :( we're getting a Bull Terrier.

Dogs rule!! well big ones anyway... Can't stand little ones.. LOL.. no harm intended to anyone :)

I'm sorry that you lost your Pitbull. Reading your reply just sent chills up my arms. Raleigh has cancer (very rare type). He had a burst tumor removed from his stomach in late July. His surgery went very well, and was followed by three chemo treatments. He was in remission for over six months. About six weeks ago, his oncologist discovered four nodules in one of his lungs. :( He's going through another set of chemo treatments now (two down, one to go). I feel like we're fighting a never-ending battle, but we're doing everything we can for him. Fortunately, there are canine oncology doctors in our area. His oncologist was very optimistic, but not as much now because of the nodules in his lung. Luckily though, he looks very healthy, eats a lot (high protein diet, but that's another topic), and is very energetic. To look at him, a person would never guess that anything is wrong.

Once Squishy is gone, we will definitely get another big dog. I'd like to get another Pitbull, but I don't know if I can as I'm afraid that I'm constantly be comparing him/her to Squishy. In addition, I'm concerned that this would make us very depressed as we would likely think about Squishy a lot. I'm not familiar with a Bull Terrier, but I will look the breed up.

Awww :( really, really sorry to hear that Vaporgal .... I honestly know what you guys are going through... I just hope 'Squishy' will be fine!! I pray to the doggie gods and hopefully they'll hear it! As long as he eats and is energetic I think you are alright. It's great you guys take good care of Squishy!!

My 'Lady' died on the way to the Animal Hospital in my Parent's arms...It was painful.. Most important thing you can do is make sure your dog is not in pain.. I know Lady is looking down at me and she's fine up there. Anyways, enough sad talk!

Here's a Bull Terrier:

They are just like Pit Bulls in regards to their characters, as strong and just as loyal, friendly, and loving. They're a little smaller & might look ugly to some, but I think they're quite unique. God I love dogs.. :)

You seem like a super couple helping with the disease of smoking. You should consider this an inexpensive lesson with FSUSA. David is not the saint he likes to let on. I would not be a bit surprised if you actually talked to him. I personally have had my last experience with him and his company. Many people on this forum agree with my postings that the company, (FSUSA) would be far better off if he were not allowed to communicate with its customer's. Believe me when I say you got off easy.

Well, either way, my Father in Law likes the samples more than the Juice we got him.. lol.. The samples were Fruity flavors.. I guess he didn't know that there is such a thing as NON-Tobacco flavors..... I don't wanna bash on FSUSA just wanted to discuss my experience with them compared to other e juice suppliers. The juice arrived very fast and as long as my wife's dad is happy, I'm happy.
Needless to say, we have not mentioned the conversation we had with FSUSA w/ her dad. He said he would try and use a computer to browse the internet for more of their juice. So not only is he on the path of quitting analogs, but he's also learning how to browse the internet.

Time to go to bed!! Gnight

I currently work in manufacturing and spent many years in wholesale distribution. If we ever double shipped an order or sent the wrong item and wanted it back, we always sent a pre-paid call-tag. The only effort required on the customer's part is to fill in their name & address, re-pack the item(s) in the original package, slap on the label, and call a toll-free number to schedule a pick-up.

Under the circumstances described, beyond just telling you "thanks for letting us know" and using it an opportunity to identify how the error was made in their fulfillment process to prevent recurrence, this would be the only right thing to do.
