Durability of a Provari?

Considering making the upgrade to a Provari. Curious as to how durable it is though. I'm outside a lot in the summer months. I'm not too worried about dropping it but in the case that it does happen I don't want to watch 200+ dollars fall apart on a concrete parking lot.

If you are worried about dropping it, just wrap it. FWIW, it's built like a tank.

Get dinged up? Yes. Fall apart? Hell no. You should read some of the horror stories on here about falls, "lost in the cow pasture" for a few months, and accidents these things have survived still working. Not as pretty - but still working.

About the worst thing - beyond cosmetic dings - that seems to happen from a fall is the force and weight of the battery might compress the spring a bit on impact, resulting in some flaky contact issues. So ya take the cap off, stretch the spring a bit and... there ya go.

Provaris are built very well. The fit and finish are perfect. I have about 10 mods and the provari as durable or more durable than all of them.

I dropped mine on the concrete floor at walmart. It chipped the floor and didn't even scratch the Provari.

Built like a tank.

Worst drop was from a height of about 6 feet on to concrete. Damage was all cosmetic.

Weighs a ton. A friend of mine ran his over with his truck for fun...put the tank on it and vaped.

The Provari is built like a Timex. My darling wife drops hers a few times a day on ceramic tile. No lie !

provari are a top notch build.
having said that,they are not a working mans build.
you drop em,you break em.
the beauty is you can repair them by yourself.
and we wont tell.

thanks for all the fast replies everyone, very happy to have joined this community. can anyone tell me more about these wraps that you can get? Do they really offer that much protection? To be honest, I'm really not worried about cosmetic dings etc. I just dont want it to break upon a drop/multiple possible drops. If I pay 200+ dollars for it I want to know it wont break within the first couple months just because of an accident.
