Hi,

I've had my UltraFire WF-138 charger for about six months now. Sometime in the last two months, one channel always finishes charging before the other. The battery that comes off the faster channel is always about 4.2v, and the one that comes off the slow one is never more than 3.81v. Have others experienced this? Is this a sign of a dying charger? Can it be repaired, or do I need to get a new charger?

Thanks!
Nick

Thanks for the reply D. Waterhouse. Honestly I don't have very many electrical outlets available, so I'd prefer something with a tether. If it will last two years, a Pila is economical to me. The fast channel on my current charger now charges a cell to 4.23v, and the slow one does the same, it just takes longer (when it was new, it topped out at 4.21). I'd rather not worry about overcharging before the green light comes on, so that's why I'm thinking of the Pila. Do they last?
