All in all, a good article.
One of the things that I personally have found frustrating is how people seem to equate "quitting smoking" with "quitting nicotine." As we all know, they're two very different things. This article seemed to make it clear that e-cigarettes are being used by many people as an alternative to smoking--a way for people to enjoy nicotine and the ritual of "smoking" without smoking.
Although the health care professionals still seem kind of clueless:
"Nicotine affects the human brain in the same way methamphetamine does, nord said. "
I would say its a step toward total abstinence from nicotine, nord said.
I have no more desire to give up nicotine than I do to give up caffeine . . . there's nothing quite as nice as enjoying a
vape in the morning with a good cup of coffee.
