Perhaps it's just my ISP but the www.e-cig.com site is appears to be dead. It has been down several times in the past week - or at least I've not been able to get to it (my ISP?). I'd be interested to know what others find - is the site up for you?

Whether the site is temporarily down on or out of business, the forum should know that this company has been taking orders, taking the money but not delivering.

I have informed my CC company (VISA) to demand a refund (thank God I used VISA - I normally don't) for non-delivered goods. I expect VISA to deal with the problem from here.

Whatever problems e-cig.com were/are dealing with - they just got worse. This company should be removed from the forum's list of suppliers.

Just got the e-cig site up by dropping off the "www".

I see they are still taking orders for the "New MiniCig" that they can't deliver. Forum members should know that orders placed for this product more than a month ago have not been delivered. I've had no response to my emails either - though Trog has had a holding response.

Have you had any update Trog?

I really think the forum should have a "blacklist" and this company should be it's first entry!

Here's what I get when I try to go to e-cig.com:

Trog - are you suggesting this company is hanging out for a better deal while holding on to our money?

Either way - I'm fed up and consider them unscrupulous. Anybody making an order will have their money taken but receive nothing in return - nor will they get a response to emails.

It's a "thank you for your money - now f**k away off" deal.

BUYERS BEWARE - DO NOT PLACE ORDERS WITH THIS COMPANY.

When you put httpS at the beginning it works...that's how I had it bookmarked:

https://e-cig.com/

I think that was always the site and not http (which I don't get)

They have really screwed their certificate, fundamental error. If they get this wrong, do you trust them?

I would rather have small pieces of my body removed than order from that shower again.

Just say NO

www.e-cignews.com
either their web developer messed up their dns settings or they got hacked to some extent. you can also get in using e-liq.com which just directs to https://www.ecig.com/shopping/shopcontent.asp?type=Home

https: is a secure connection while http: sites can be monitored by outside parties. payment gateways should always be https: otherwise, your details can get snatched. dont know why their whole site has to be https though now.

AH.... e-cig. what can i say. i finally got an answer from them because i threatened legal action. sad that i had to do that. then i got another answer telling me that they didnt have the parts yet. they only answered me then because i asked them to cancel the order and refund the money. its 'only' been 4 weeks for me. They didnt delay in taking the money out of my account though surprise surprise.
I think a blacklist is a great idea and yes they should be first on it followed closely by Loongtotem.
I think the best thing is to steer clear of the asian companies as they have no concept of customer service. Its only the American and hopefully soon Australian companies that I will deal with from now on. Oh and UK depending on the prices.
the only problem with the American co's is that I am paying $50au for postage which i think is a bit of a scam but at least you get what you want when you want it so not too stressed.

No. Their web development is fine (well, with regard to ssl - it's not done at the application layer, so they get this automatically.) Their DNS is fine. Their SSL certificates are fine.

The only thing that they need to do is have their web host redirect http requests to their checkout to https and reopen their http socket for the rest of the site.
