Well they told us a couple of days ago on their live chat that they would try and send my older the next day depending on whether my package gets returned to them due to heavy policing of packages. But we still have had no shipping confirmation at all as they promised me they would e-mail confirmation once they had done this.
As they have had over $600 of me I am getting really concerned and thinking of saying if they can cancel and refund my money if they cannot ship my goods straight away as I have been receiving parcels from China since the Olympics started so what's their excuse. if other people can do it why can't they this is becoming such a scam it's unbelievable.

Yeah I agree my first e-cig shipped from China the day of the Torch lighting ceremony. I was a little confused as well about that. Anyways I do not know what the story is with the supplier. I do know that some suppliers on ebay have about the same price, ship from China, and provide shipping information with in 24hrs. If you have 600 bucks of merchandise I would hope they figure on all the business theyre going to lose. I have already sent an email requesting a refund. If my package can be shipped I would like to know, if they cant than forget it, I will find someone who can. China is a top exporter in the world and you are telling me or I am supposed to believe the exporting business has been almost stopped all together for security reasons. None of that makes sense...

The first order shipped from hong kong and only took 10 days. This was during the olympics from a different company I found off ebay. That company does not sell atomizers so I decided to go with e-cig. Now after the olympics there is still a problem and I can not seem to get ahold of anyone at E-cig.com to process a refund or just tell me what is going on. I respected the company for being up front earlier and stoping their operations while they could not ship. Now they have lied and said all items will ship in 3-5 days with Express shipping and everyone will receive notification. No where during my ordering process did they say "By the way we do not know when we can ship this" Even so if this was held up in Chinese customs it would have a shipping id because it would have to be shipped to be intercepted by Chinese customs. If anyone gets ahold of E-cig tell them I want my money back too.

The ban affected any products out of China that contained any form of liquid or had batteries included in it.

The way some companies have got around the ban is to overland their consignments to Hong Kong and ship from there. HK because it is slightly different from the rest of China is still able to ship as per normal.

e-cig are based in Cixi city which is a long way inland, I imagine the cost of trucking orders to HK for on shipping was not an option for them and the decided to simply not ship.

My manufacturer does not have that problem, as are many other manufacturing plants, they are located in Shenzhen which is very close to HK. All my products are shipped from HK. The price for shipping is also less than if it was shipped from other parts of China. I have no idea why, but it means you guys benefit from the reduced shipping charges.
