E cig cruise question

I know I can bring my stuff on the cruise. My question is if I pack my batteries and such in my luggage, will they open my luggage to check it out? I'm trying to sneak on some booze, so I don't want them to open anything up. Should I just carry it on? How will they handle that.

It's just batteries, I wouldn't see the problem in that really. Unless your making a bomb... Which obviously your not

As long as you are not flying to get to your cruise.....then batteries must be in your carry on.

I haven't cruised since 2004, but back then, the security you go through on boarding was pretty much like airport security. Doubt they'll open your bags, tho they might x-ray them. Batteries shouldn't be a problem, since people bring all kinds of battery-operated devices with them. (Cruise ships do NOT like pax bringing booze on; if they find it, it'll be confiscated. Be creative...
