More research for my first e-cig set(s)...

I really like the size of the e-cig E8 (8mm diameter, 84mm long), it may not be my regular smoke but I want something in that size range. Are there any re-branded versions of this e-cig with same dimensions? I know of the Esmoke Sensation. Any others?

Or...any other e-cigs of the same size?

Thanks very much!

If you really have to have a super mini, I'd go with one of the M4-series ones from Absolutely E-cig. They seem to be the most reliable and the best priced from what I've read.

But honestly, I don't think that's a good idea for a beginner.

When I came here a few weeks ago, I also wanted something JUST like a cigarette.

But then I realized that I'd have to direct-drip juice into it every 5 minutes. The cartridge is tiny, and only holds a couple drops.

The price of that tiny size is a tiny battery. I'd probably need to buy 2 kits just to keep up with charging them, without having to go without an e-cig. And if I go out? Unless I also buy a PCC to go with it, it's just not worth it.

The performance isn't that good. Again, because it's tiny. I wanted to replace cigarettes. But something this small wouldn't have enough punch to replace cigarettes.

So I wound up going with a Kr808D-1. It's still cigarette-shaped, just longer, and a touch wider. It's not EXACTLY like a cigarette. But you know what?

I can go for hours and hours before I have to refill it. The battery lasts as long as 7 or 8 hours. And they have enough power to make them real feel like a cigarette, so that I could get off cigarettes.

I am so glad I didn't wind up going for something "exactly like a cigarette."

Thanks Mistress,

You read my mind actually...I am definitely getting some variation on the Kr808-1, probably a Vapor King as it stands now. I was just thinking of also getting that hyper realistic E8 just because I want that option, I might be able to convert some analog smoke friends with this tiny device. I remember when we first heard of vapor cigarettes we were put off by the size, back then e-smokers looked like clarinetists. Now that the micro technology is upon us I just want to have it in my hands, maybe dispel that stigma.

So you're saying that the M4 is the best of the bunch?

Sounds like a plan!

Yes, lots of people do have super-minis around for ultra portability, or for the fact that they do look like a cigarette and are subtle in public. And some of them do work quite well. But as a main e-cig, very few people ever wind up sticking with just those.

There's a bunch of M4's: the M401, M402, and M403. The only thing that's different between each is the length. The M401 is the longest (100 size), and the M403 is the shortest (regular cig size).

Besides my Kr8, the other 2 e-cigs that I have tried (my friends have them) were the Blu cig and the EVO from Intellicig. The EVO is just a branded M4-series. Both are roughly cigarette-sized.

Between the two of them, I liked the EVO/M4 more. Stronger hit, better vapor.

But, if you're willing to wait a week or two for delivery in order to get the best price, Absolutely E-Cigs sells them unbranded straight from the supplier, and I've heard good things about their customer service.

I used to be like you, but once you realize the super-minis last 30 minutes without charging, and you have bought 5-6 batteries so you can vape a movie without charging them, you will realize why a lot of us vape on "clarinets".

I DO NOT WANT MY PV to look like a cigarette, I am tired of being an outcast, and getting dirty looks. My main is a RED MegaTornado. looks just like a big red Dil_o (fill in the blanks) but that is ok, because people know it is not a cigarette, and it lasts all day, and I charge it while I am sleeping. PERFECT!

My first pv was a cig lookalike, but just did not generate the amount of vapor I needed, and retired it in a couple of weeks. Most who started with this type of pv "graduate" from it rather quickly.

Your kr8 on the other hand is a fine unit that you can stick with for a long time... and it certainly doesn't look like clarinet... not even a piccolo! lol

Glad you could join us AR!!
