    Hi Bob,

That would be a fairly bad idea if they only sold them as kits. :( Perhaps TW selling them as separates pushed Janty into doing the same? TW was out of kits in black at the time so I picked it up as 'separates,' rapid charger as well. Of course, the black battery and the white cone makes it my multi-colored Tornado, but.. :)

I don't disagree that someone *could* choke, just, well..ok, I won't touch that one. :)
I am actually vaping on an Ego with the soft tip 801 cart on the end as I type this. I really do like those soft tips, love them on my M201 pen. Give it a try - you'll have to stretch it slightly to fit, but it's easily enough done.

just recived my ego 19 hours ago and the batt is still going strong (i slept for 12 hours)

still new to e cigs bought a dse103 for my first. (probably would not have if i came to this forum first.) i still like it but the battery lasted 45mins hard to charge while i was out.

the ego is great a bit less vaper than my dse103 so i thought to my self ill vape my dse103 while at home but gave up on that when i vape both at the same time. the ego has so much more flavor and lung hit(feels heavy in the lungs like smoke)

the problems i have with my purchase(small problems) i think the basic kit should come with another atty. the other chargers in the upgraded kit seem foolish because between the 2 batteries you are good for 15-25 hours. i also dont like the prefilled carts they should label them so you know what flavor they are, what brand of e liquid (for marketing purposes), and how much nic they have.

i agree with bob that the carts are a safty hazzard but i wanted to ask why he holds it in his teeth. if it were an auto battery i would understand you could hold it in your mouth hands free and vape away but holding a manual switch seems pointless to me because you have to bring your hand up to it anyway

Sorry, this is a very late reply, and no one will probably even notice/read it. But concerning the "small disc-y bits" that presumably come "flying off" the 501 cartridges, and into one's mouth. Being somewhat of a choking hazard. ... It seems the problem has already been addressed. The 501 carts that came with my Tornado, I've just noticed, are completely solid at the mouthpiece. (i.e. completely one solid piece of plastic). Therefore having no "pieces" that can come off into one's mouth. ...
I'm not sure if only the TW 501/Tornado carts are designed in this manner, or all of their 501 carts ??? (Though I would have thought so !?) ... But it certainly seems that your/this "design fault" has been corrected ! ~ No more "choke-y flying off bits" ! (At least, with Totally Wicked's 501 cart's).

I made the mistake of reaching for an eliquid bottle while using my mouth to pull off the 510 cart....ugh! the plastic was very brittle. Are there 510 carts with whistle tips? I seem to recall someone on the forum mentioning them can anyone give me a link?

not sure I'll like those (have 10 coming).. they seem a lot bigger than the 901s. I've got a lot of those left over, though.. but they don't seem to work as well (the vapor path is bigger, and only on one side). I'll try some again since my first attempt was the first day I got me eGo.. might have been a learning curve thing... but the slower draw on the 510 carts seems to pull fluid down to the bridge better giving better vapor..

These carts work great, used them on a screwdriver with 901-510 adapter and a Stick with 801(302)-510 adapter. And yes the tip is thicker than the 901 carts. :)

Nice video. Very interesting. But for me, I prefer the Ego/Tornado over my Kissbox Classic. Everything about the Ego/Tornado is a step up to my Kissbox Classic. TH, vapor, ergonomics, etc.

Been using it close to a month and have yet to experience any end caps popping off. I generally prefer the round carts to whistle tips. Only annoying thing is that I keep getting juices in my mouth with freshly filled carts regardless of the amount I top up.

EDIT : ... Oops, My Bad ! ... I've just realised I've been blurting out total "untruths" (SORRY !) ... I'm afraid those "all-in-one" 510 carts I spoke of about in my previous post. (*quoted above*) Are actually not "all-in-one" after all ! :( ... It seems it was only that one odd cart that was (obviously) very deceptive , and must have been very "tight fitting" or something !? Which mislead me into believing they were . ... But I've just noticed on using the second cart, that those damned "disc-y end bits" are indeed still on these damned carts after all.
So, real sorry once again, but it looks like this problem has not, after all, been addressed yet, as I had first incorrectly stated.
