I joined this cos I saw a discussion that I wanted to reply to but then found it had closed, so I am hoping someone else can tell me what the hell is going on! It is 5.25 a.m. and I haven't slept yet, partly due to waiting for my daughter to come home then nursing her while she was throwing up after drinking too much, but partly, and mainly cos I cannot stop farting! lovely, I know, but this is driving me mad. It took me a while to realise that the farts smell exactly like the juice in my e-cig tasted, which to be honest is not how it usually tastes and I have no idea why it tastes different at the moment, but it does. I just couldn't believe that my farts would have the smell of my e-cig juice, so I just came on and googled e-cig and flatulence and found that someone on here had described it exactly the same. I have been vaping for about 8 months now and never noticed this, so I am wondering - is it cos I have been overdoing it today, or is it cos the taste is a bit......well....off, maybe?! It is the same juice I have been using and only bought a couple of weeks ago and only been opened a few days, but didn't taste like this in my other e-cig, so could the e-cig itself be to blame? Anyone else had this, or know why it is suddenly happening - I think the other person also mentioned explosive diahorrea but luckily I haven't experienced that....yet! Well it is 5.31 now so I hope I do eventually stop and manage to get some sleep! TIA

I can't think of any reason vaping would cause that. And if yours smell like juice, that's a lot better than what most farts smell like, lol!

Yeah it may not be so bad if it wasn't every couple of minutes! I don't usually suffer with this problem at all, so it's freaking me out!

No, I am certain it is from vaping, especially after reading what Supermarket wrote a while ago, and it smells exactly the same! Of course, when it first started I thought "what on earth have I eaten to cause this" but then got a whiff of it properly and it is my juice!Its probably from something you ate
Yuuuukk! I hate asparagus! it's the only veg I can't eat! I never eat canned veg, I can only imagine how disgusting it tastes!
Oooohh, having a hard time resisting making a really bad comment on that one..
I can say that there has been no general change to the odor of my flatus since I started vaping, but there may (BIG may) have been some change to my GI operation since I started vaping. Whether or not vaping is responsible for that is hard to determine, since I started vaping shortly after starting a prescription regimen of blood thinner, a statin and a beta-blocker - any of which could also be responsible for that change as well.
My advice: don't vape for at least an hour after eating at Taco Bell.

I don't recommend leaving the immediate proximity of a restroom for at least an hour after eating at Taco Bell
