I was just about to post this info, you beat me to it. We'll have more information next week. It will be watchable a few days after the airing here :
Dans l'

French only though. I'm wondering why he needs money to commercialize it, it's already selling in every couche-tard (Mac's), loblaws and there's already a lot of company selling it.

Thanks for posting the link to yesterday's show. I was able to make a print-screen of the "Evo" at about 41:40. Here it is:

I wonder as well what the hell an e-cig company could get from the Dragons. I mean, clearly they did not bring anything new to the product except for a longer battery than on most slim PVs. They don't even offer automatic batteries and they manage to convince the customers that automatic batteries are crap - which is not true anymore - just to hide the fact that their product is not up to par with the competition ;)

Of course it's a good thing to spread the word about the e-cig, especially in Quebec since people will slowly understand that I am not a man from the future... but specifically in that TV show I prefer products that have a patent or that shows that the promoter had a great idea. The e-cig is the greatest invention in the last 10 years... but the credit should be given to M. Hon Lik.

It's Leeeeeeeeroy Jenkins, dontchaknow?? Hehe, I totally dig Leroy references since I got caught up in that when it first came out. It's just WoW! ;-)

I heard the name without understanding crap about it back in 2008 or 2009. Some geeks at work were talking about it :D

I only learned what was the Leeroy Jenkin meme a few weeks ago on another forum. This and Godwin's law - which I realize is very hip these days.

I'm busted :D

I'll stick with my Leeroy geekiness (and the whelps).

For those who missed it, here is a condensate of the Dragon's say:

"A trip to china? Are you kiddin' us? Move on, next!"

Here's the link to the show (if you speak french)
La Zone Audio • Vido | Radio-Canada.ca

It starts at about 15:00

Basically, they are asking for too much money after investing nothing, they are just re-selling the product. The Dragons were insulted because of the over-evaluation (one million bucks) of the company. All they wanted was to get some TV exposure, but in my opinion it's not wise to upset the Dragons on that show if you want to leave the TV set with no deal but with a good publicity.
