I started vaping 3 months ago, started with a "super mini" no name brand, it worked for about 3 wks, after discovering this site I got great info, so I bought a "dse901" It came with all kinds of info..ie I.D numbers and so on, made me feel real good about getting the real thing and not a knock off, I bought a bunch of extra atomizers, Batts ect, Its been two months, still using the first atomizer, and 2 original batts, I know I'm lucky according to other post on life spans, all I do for maintance is blow out the atomizer and let it drip upside down once in a while and keep the batt connection clean and I dont mess with it, I just use it.

Lucky? or you get what you paid for?

I hear ya.. Due to my need to modify things. I'm one step ahead. I've been refining the madog magnum. Made a few small changes and been refining my builds.

The main point of my rant is that these parts should last longer than they did, at least mine. A friend got a kit the same time I did. His batts and atomizers are still kicking. Granted I use mine more. But mass failure on my side and none on his is a sign of something.

Tonite I wired a switch to the led end of a stock battery. So I've got a manual switched 801 battery. Who needs the led anyway.

I guess the magnum mod is wave of the future.................

Vegatron, very nice work on the mod! And I agree with you on the parts and the future being manuals. All we can do is try to educate those with enough sense to listen.

The LED is a useful feature. First, it tells you that the circuit is working or that you have the master power switch turned off/on. Second, it indicates when your power source is dying when it becomes dim. Third, you can use it as an emergency flashlight. Finally, it looks cool.
