I started vaping about 5 years ago, probably more. I bought them when it was like the cheap gas station cigarette. Pre filled carts. Threw most of them away because I thought they were defective. They were just slightly over filled. I paid over a hundred dollars for 2 batterys and a cart to start. Now you can buy that at shops for $10 and a charger to boot. Now I coveted those carts, I had to make them last. One cart was supposed to last 2 packs worth and it did. I counted to 10 and I had to stop because that was how many drags were in a cigarette. They cost slightly less than a pack, course a pack was like 4 then or something. It was revolutionary and I felt so smart.
Now it came a time when I stopped and I started to smoke again. Yes it made me sick for a day or so. I went up to 3 packs a day. I said that was bad and weened myself down never to do that electric thing again. What happened. I started vaping more because I liked the tastes. Since you don't have a cig to tell you when to stop.. keep going. I started back vaping when times were rough and I had no money. In these days it's so cheap. Go from $3.50 for 1 pre filled cart to about 5 dollars for 10ml. Is that crazy or what. Now the real crazy thing is I'm watching hungry for change on Netflix, sucking on a watermelon flavor I got free in a shipment. From what they told me I looked at my tank and felt so sorry, so bad.. Hey, I don't even like watermelon. Why was I smoking the hell out of it. Because of the sugar. I won't even say anything about diet cola sweeteners. You seriously need to watch that. Everyone is so worked up that e-cigs will be taken away. They won't, now I see that the food industry is taking over which is much bigger and worse than big tobacco. Remember a REAL cig which you would have never had was like 5mg nic. They sprayed extra nic and flavorings on it to make it addictive. (how else are you getting your tobacco flavoring) I think they've been waiting for someone to come back and try to sue a e-liquid distributor with giving them type 2 diabetes. Whether they should keep it DIY or not is the major question.
Now before everyone raises their fists in the air and screams crucify I do believe in electronic cigarettes. They work and they are good. But it is the user. Anyone can abuse anything that is good and make it bad. How is it bad. Well look at the side of your light saber handle I mean "mod". There is a counter there, depending on what you have it might be all day or since you last turned it off. If you are over 400 you have a problem. This means you smoked slightly over 2 packs of cigs, that is if you smoke 18mg or higher. A vape is equal to a drag on a cig, unless they made that worse too. The counter is there not to prove who got the new high score but to help you monitor yourself. If you enjoy your flavor that much you need to reduce your nic content. I smoke too much with this e-cig. That's just me. I went down to 8mg. My guts thank me!!!
I'm sure my post will be taken down because I did something wrong I'm sure. Remember you have a big battery that can last all day, you have a TANK of liquid that can last just as long. You are inhaling sugar and nicotine. Be mindful of both. All because it is good doesn't mean that it can't be abused. I feel I have a rightful voice because I came in on the first generation of e-cigs and came back on the 3rd generation. Just stating the differences I see. 200 puffs equal a pack. What's your number?

Watch Hungry for change on Netflix and you will see what I mean. Yes I enjoy it too. There is no way I could smoke as much now with an analog. I would literally die. I guess it's like Grandmom warning you not to drink too much home-made ice tea. And yeah I like the coconut Rum because it kinda craves my addiction to have more liquor. My brain is kinda confused about taste and what it should expect from it. It's been trained by the food industry. I would really like to hear peoples experiences with it. Are you eating less because you have your favorite dessert flavor? They now make liquid fortified with guarna and caffeine like a energy drink. Why not make one that will make me look like I've been in the gym all day. We could have one that helps your cough and another to clear your nose, and one to help your asthma, and one to...Seriously looking back how has your brain changed

Someone help me here. This guy says he's non-stop. I thought nic targets the reward centers of the brain. Like beating the boss on you favorite video game. Having one on the way to the store. Having one in between every store you go to after that for the day. When someone pisses you off and you handled it good, puff. Dealing with uncontrollable situations in your life, puff. Watching your favorite TV show, puff. After a meal, puff. How do you go non-stop or virtually non stop?

You can work with or around those reward centers. It's how I'm getting the last 3-4 analogs out of my life (hey, I've only been vaping 3 days here!). Today's analogs? One while I was nauseated because I was hungry, one while cleaning the litter box, and one when my throat was sore. I'll let you imagine just how "enjoyable" those were...

To the OP, it sounds like you're mostly concerned about the flavors and sweeteners in your juice, in which case I'd say why not try it without. Even in my short time I've found plain juice available if I wanted to order it

But the big thing is you vape like you smoke right now. Sometimes you will have to go 20-40 puffs for your brain to stop bugging you. When you feel like your having a psychotic episode up there it is good. That means that your brain is starting to sever that long term connection it has. I'm just reminding the ones that have been vaping for years.

It sounds like the OP is speaking from ignorance.

One puff of an ecig is not the same thing as one puff from a cigarette. If you are going by MG numbers you are going to be way off. It's just not the same, you can't make a comparison, and even if you could it would probably be more like 4-5 puffs equals one puff from a cig, as far as nicotine delivery goes.

There are a few juices that contain sweetener but not all do. PG/VG is naturally sweet, put some straight VG on your tongue, it's sweet. It's not sugar, however.

You keep saying "they" as if all juice makers, vendors, and hardware manufacturers are all working together to some nefarious end. They aren't. Some people making juice are doing in it in their kitchen. Some people do it in a lab fit for a king.

Overall I just don't get what point you are trying to make, if any. Are you trying to say we are nicotine addicts that enjoy nicotine? Well, nothing new or surprising about that. Few would deny it. So what's your point?

Do you think all these vendors and manufactuers are working together to poison us or something similar?

I ask again, what's your point? I see a lot of half truth and personal judgement in your post, but little substance. Sorry.

The most favorite thing I like to do with my i-taste MVP mod is when someone looks at me like I have 3 alien heads. I hold it up to my ear and say yes, I'm in position Sir. Yes he is still on foot. Then I'll pause and say Yes I'm right here pretending to smoke a cigarette. Then drag on it. People usually either jaw drop and run, most drop their cig and walk away stunned. I laugh. It only works with the I-Clear clearomizerr that comes with it. When I do it with the Vivi Nova 3.5 ml tank it doesn't work. They usually give me a poo face.

Where in the heck did you find the audacity to tell us how to vape? I don't think Mr. 3 packs a day is someone who should be giving out health advice, lol. I don't know if sugar is in e-liquid, but I do know that I don't care.

Not everyone is vaping as a cessation method, but as a healthier alternative. I personally wish to rid myself of nicotine addiction, so I'm slowly lowering the nic over time. That does NOT give me the right to tell others to do the same. You do your thing, and we'll do ours.

Oh, and my number: I have no freaking clue, because I don't keep track, and it's different every day, anyway. Besides, nicotine absorption rates are different between smoke and vapor, so a direct comparison is moot.
