Hi, looking for some help and this place seems like the source. Friend of mine directed me here.

I'm looking for a tank that uses replacable atomizers (not rebuildable), simply because of the ease in replacement. I'm not looking for something too cheap. Maybe what would be called "medium grade." Adjustable voltage battery would be best, and I'd like to get the best flavor out of the tank. Nicotine levels for me are none to minimum. And as a bonus, if there is a "starter kit", that'd be awesome too.

Thanks in advance of any advice.

Hi Dirtyharry,

Welcome to ECF. Im a new member here too but not new to vaping. So are you looking for compact small kits or larger systems that has larger battery capacity and larger tanks for more juice storage?

Ive had great experiences with the Vivi Nova tanks. They come in large or small tanks (which is what I have that holds bout 2ml of juice). Easy to clean, great vapour, throat hit and taste, replaceable heads. Ive seen ads for a Vivi Nova starting kit but forgot where. They use 510 thread FYI.

For batteries, i can recommend the eGo twist that is great money wise and has adjustable voltage. I just bought a Innokin MVP that has adjustable voltage, passthrough, and can act also as an output charger for your phones, ipod, ipad, etc. but the downside is that the MVP maybe a little big and cumbersome if you are looking for the stealthy look. Innokin also has the VV which is smaller and has adjustable voltage. Price for the eGo twist maybe $25 ish. Price for MVP is $55 to $60 (lots of good reviews). And price for VV around $45 to $50 ish.

There are definitely starter kits for both Innokins. I just bought one and waiting for it in the mail. Bought the MVP for a little less than $50 on ebay from a trusted seller in Napa, Ca.

EGO batteries and some protanks are a good start......vivi novas are good too though so whichever will achieve the results you want.....the viv nova uses wick and they hang down the tank....whereas the protanks are bottom coils......im my experience the bottom coil tanks let you take your juice down to the last little bit and still keeps wicking without tilting.....

you can get most ego kits for about 50-70 bucks which comes with 2 batteries and a charger and maybe two clearomizers which is cool.....then you can purchase some vivi novas or protanks to upgrade from those......

Happy Vaping!!!!!

I was in a similar situation and I purchased a V max and a pro tank. Really like the setup, and the heads for the pro tank are pretty cheap and come in different resistances

I dont know... I just bought the mini protank 2 about a week ago due to the raving reviews everywhere. Great construction, but a burnt muted taste after taking 10 puffs with 2 new atty heads to experiment with. Took out a few of the wicks on top, cleaned the top head, etc and still got a burnt taste. And leaking too! My husband had the same prob with his too. Sorry i had a bad experience.

FYI look at discount vapers gear. They have great pricing and ship really fast...

biggest problem I see with the mixed reviews is sometimes people either getting a bad product or knockoffs......there are alot of knockoffs and they will usually not work the same.......or sometimes you merely get a bad product.....so for the first time purchasers ensure you are getting a genuine piece and if it doesent work try something else......just my 2 cents.....i cant stress this enough with first time purchasers......sometimes the lower price isnt the best bet

I think to get started you can't wrong with an ego twist, as suggested. I like the iclears but am more partial to a bottom feeder(easy to change coil heads when filled)like a kanger ts3 or even a mini protank 2 but everyone is different. if a mod is in your budget, I just got a vamo v3 and a protank2 (not the mini) which has been great for me for the last week. gl
