Kaila, glad to hear the Blu is working for you!

Now, if your husband smokes get him to try it too.

Oh, and my wife yells at me for being on this Forum so much also.

Yea, he smokes, and has officially snatched up my spare battery for now... lol. i'm certain he'll need some thing more along the lines of a manul and probably at least a 510

also, i'm glad i'm not the only one that gets yelled at for being on the forum too much! lol i love this place tho.

Good for you Kaila... can you believe you really put that in your mouth for however long you smoked? For me it was 23 years and 3PAD when I got my first ecig kit. Haven't looked back since!!

Honestly, now that i have my e-cig no, i can't believe i smoked that! lol and the hubby lit up after dinner, i was surprised that already the smell is like... bleh, i wanted to tell him to put the damn thing out!

Kaila if you're not concerned about it being about the size of a AA battery in diameter - i'd recommend going for something with decent battery life. I was worried my eGo would be too big but its like a little cigar. i don't mean to promote the eGo or any versions of it i just know it definately kicks the tar out of the 510 batt life. Never a moment I'm without vapor if i want it just with the starter kit. for a couple that vapes heavily i'd say a starter kit for each person would provide more than enough vaping throughout the day. But if that sounds up your ally don't take my word for it on the eGo - there are other options out there for long lasting battery life. It sounds like you know you want to vape and the same with your man...the 510 looks nifty I have mine for that purpose.. but It'd be 4x the work to maintain than my eGo. ;) all i'm sayin.

- and the throat irritation should become unnoticable after you've been vaping awhile. - and it could be the flavor - like "Orange" burns me a little bit..i'm assuming it's the citric acid. My vanilla and peach hit smooth now.

I've been on the Cherry Crush that comes with the kit, plan on ordering some juices to refill the carts as well as it's MUCH cheaper. it's got a pretty smooth hit, i'm chalking it up to mostly cold related and some irritation from just starting out, if it lasts more than a week then i may need to do something differently, but for now i'm estatic that i have not smoked an analog in however many hours... this is truely it for me.

Also, I'm sure I will be getting a beefier (sp) model, as i'm already finding it hard to put it down (purely for the fact that I need to get some 0 nic juice just for making smoke). I've looked at the eGo, and also thought it was a bit big, I may decide to go for it tho and either get something bigger than the Blu or just keep the Blu for out and about... I'm not quite sure yet... but that's down the road. Focusing on the now is what I do best and it feels freakin great!!!

Yes DO up your fluid intake - even as much as double what you normlly drink. PG and Vg will both dry you out a lot, you need to stay ahead of the curve by drinking a ton.
My first few days my throat was almost swollen shut because I didn't drink enough - more fluids sorted that out and now I drink like the proverbial fish lol and never have that issue.

Only problem I've had so far is a sore throat (BUT I've also been sick with a cold for going on a week and a half now...) and the sore throat is to be expected, from what i've read anyways

Update on the sore throat... gone this morning with no sign of returning, but i was drinking water ALL night long, must have just needed to get more water in my system than what i had. enjoying it very much!
