been reading and learning alot on here, kind of addicted to this site, but anyway, I am only a few weeks into using my 510, now about the parts -the atomizer is the part that screws into the battery and you add the liquid into, right ? Does this part wear out ? Does it need to be replaced ? how do you know when ? The 'mouthpiece' is this the cartomizer Or cartridge? My wife has a flat one, I have a round one, but there is a little piece of fiber in there ,I was told to keep it moist ? The guy at the e-cig store told me this will last a looong time, I read that it doesnt ? How do you know when to replace it ? please clarify, and again THANK YOU

You may notice you don't get the same performance out of the atomizer (top part) as time goes on. You may want to clean it to get it working again (look up "dry burning"), or replace it from a site online. It may stop without warning also. The store you speak of probably charges much more than you will find online. The cart (part with filler material) will stop "wicking" (allowing juice to move freely to the atomizer) well also. The cart itself will last a long time but not the material in it. You can replace the material with blue aquarium filter material (found at pet store) or try other options like "cartomizers" (a single piece combining an atomizer and the filler in one), or clearomizers (aka fluxomizers) (best in my opinion) from a site like madvapes.com. You shouldn't pay more than $10 for any of the above. (cartomizers and clearomizers come in pack of 5, atomizers are for one). Many people don't use the part with filler and just drip directly onto the atomizer. (look up "direct dripping"). A month is looked at as a good lifespan for an atomizer. Can be more or less. Personally with clearomizers, with weekly cleaning last me a month easily for each one. You will have to read up on cleaning them if you go that route. Batteries will go bad also. A few months for a 510. (only rated for 300 charges or so) You will need more of them at some point. They will start to have less and less vape time between charges. A lot to digest I know... anything more than $15 is a rip for the batteries. A passthrough might be a good idea for you to keep bat usage down. They replace the battery part and plug into a usb port on computer or car adapter or wall adapter. You can vape on it constantly. Look into some of this stuff. I hope this helps. Good luck and happy vaping.
