I have had no trouble switching to vaping from analogs. In 4 weeks I have only smoked 3 analogs and that was to see what they were like. Rough taste of burning vegetation and paper. I do not miss them at all.

I like the Ruyan, 555, cappicinno, cherry and banana flavors so far. Looking forward to trying more flavors. Have some Virginia and Flu-cured coming. Can hardly wait.

GL - Keep vaping

I only smoked somewhere between 3 and 15 cigarettes per day.
I believe I generally averaged only around 7 per day.
But I did that for over 25 years.

I had no intention of quitting smoking.

I didn't like that I was smoking, but I had to smoke, and I knew I had to.

I tried to find other things that would take the place of smoking.
Something that would give me the same benefits.
Something that would fulfull the same needs.

But nothing ever even came close, until I found electronic cigarettes.
Now I haven't had a cigarette in over six months.
And I don't even want one.

That is what really blows my mind, the part about not even wanting one.

I hate to be a kiljoy....but it seems alot of these replies are from people that have just started e-cigs.

I want to see the sucsess rate over 1 or more years of e-smoking...not these "oh oh I started last week and havn't smoked since". I was realy excited to start these e-cigs and got off to a really good start and didn't smoke much for a month...and since I have started the e-cigs have not even gone through 2 packs. I was also real happy to tell everyone how wonderfull these things are.

All that stopped after doing too many hours of research finding that NICOTINE IS NOT THE ONLY THING IN TOBACCO MANY OF US NEED.

I also wonder how many people are not telling the truth, this is the web aftre all right?

How many are just caught up in the euophoria and excitment of the idea of these little e-cig devices that they just don't want to admit or don't want to think that these will not work for them?

I just want to see a long standing result of the efectiveness of these e-cigs.

So I am a newb (3 weeks). At 1:52 PM, after my Ego was nice and charged 3 weeks ago, i put the half pack of analogs in the drawer, and left the other 4 packs in the fridge. I have not had the urge to even light one up since, which tells me that e-cigs are giving me what I need.

However, yesterday after reading the survey, I decided to try something before I respond. I lit an analog ! I took one hit... Tasted disgusting. I put it out and threw it.. It tasted so bad to me that I went back into the house and threw the packs I had into the garbage !

Pushing 8 months here, no sign of going back to analogs. Desire is gone.

My last cigarette was on May 23rd last year.
I initially bought the ecig to get by with while I was going to attempt growing my own tobacco after they passed the SCHIP bill -raising the price of a pound of tobacco from $12 to $50.
    I quit smoking completely unexpectedly.
And I smoked for thirty years.

Agreed about noobs claiming to have "stopped smoking analogs", BUT

I reached my first milestone today - >1000 analogs avoided. Will be reflected in sign by tomorrow.

Last analogue on 18 Dec 2009. I don't feel guilty about passing the cig counter without buying anymore.

It might be easier to get off e-cigs than analogs.

I am scared to smoke/taste analogs again - I might just like it...
