I am a user of the ZEROCIG brand of electronic cigarette. Hopefully there are a handful of people out there who are familiar with this brand.
I received 2 batteries the other day and found that they were solid in color, and did not have stripes around them as the batteries I ordered a couple of years ago did.
My reason for mentioning this is that I still have a few packs of cartomizers I also ordered a couple of years ago.
Unfortunately, I was unable to get these OLDER cartomizers to screw on to the tip of the NEWER solid-colored (non-striped) batteries. This was disappointing in that I didn't want good cartomizers to go to waste.
I searched the Web but could not find any of the older (striped) batteries for sale.
After further searching the Web I came across a possible solution: purchasing an e-cig THREAD ADAPTER, as the means of enabling battery and cartomizer to fit together.
I first found that there are *LOTS* of thread types out there. Quite honestly, I know very little on the topic of thread adapters and thread types.
My guess is that the thread type of the OLDER ZEROCIG cartomizers I own is 401 (or M401), since the site from which I learned this, like the cartomizers, is also a couple of years old. However, I've come across alternate thread type estimates.
My hope in posting this message is that someone out there knows enough about ZEROCIG to be able to answer this post.
The answer I hope to receive will inform me as to the thread type of the following ZEROCIG items:
- the thread type of the OLDER cartomizers (possibly 401 or M401).
- the thread type of the NEWER solid-colored (non-striped) battery.
Having obtained this information, I can then go about purchasing the correct e-cig thread adapter.
Any and all help would be appreciated.
