Hi,
I just got my e cigarette today and am already having trouble. I can't get the cartridge off the atomizer!!! It is stuck. It should just pull off, but it isn't doing that. What am I doing wrong here? it should be simple. pull it off, replace with another cartridge. Plus, I'm not getting much vapor at all with this thing. It's a Smokestik. Can someone help and give me any info?

thanks,
blue mist

thanks for responding quickly! I just tried that and that's not working either. ahhhhh! It won't budge! when I twist one way it just twists the whole thing including the atomizer, and the other way won't budge it either. Darn, I wanted to just start smoking these tomorrow morning to get off the regular cigs, but it's not looking too good. Any other suggestions? Please?

I had one that was stuck on the atomizer when I got it last night ... I put a little bit of juice on the seam that separates the two (because the juice I got is really slippery ... not sure if all juices are that way) and then used two of the rubber jar opener grip thingies (gotta love the terminology :D) and twisted like hell ... took a second but I got it off.

Hope something works for you ... that is truly aggravating.

Oh thats because you have to PULL not push.:w00t:

but seriously if it is actually that stuck I would only guess that at some point during its short life the unit was left on long enough to melt the cart to the atty... there is alot of surface contact between the two on the smokestick.

you could try, in contrast to warm water, an ice water dip..... hold it there for like 30 seconds then try it

If it still doesnt come off try the same step but then dip it directly into really warm water then grab it and pull.

The last option may be to use a razor to actually scrape the cart off, thus eliminating the problem cart yet rendering it useless, but you would still have a good atty.

Sorry to hear ur havin probs. Good Luck

Hey MREXE! the vice grips worked!!!! No joke! I just put another cartridge on and apparently didn't break anything! PTL Still not getting alot of vapor though. Must be a technique to it that I haven't discovered yet.....but I will. thanks to all who responded!! This forum rocks!

You may have to "break in" the atty ... I know that makes little sense ... but I was about to give up on my 901 after two days ... but after drawing on it REALLY hard now today it is suddenly much easier and producing alot more vapor.
